M2 UK Price increace.

I have just been told i am number 1 in the line for delivery !
Will miss out on delivery before the dreaded car tax increases so it will cost me over £1500 more to tax over five years.
I am hearing that there will be a price increase for Germany by 500 euro so if i secure the finance on the PCP before i will save any price increases!
Also their might be now LCI so i am happy to just get one new to my spec.
I can`t believe there are so many for sale on iine most seem to be auto in blue!
I want a white manual with a sunroof so no good to me!
might miss out on the 5 yr servicing as its going to 3 yrs.

I picked up my M2 on the 12th and the 5yr had got to 3yr for the same price. I swerved it.

Should have got the dealer to honour the 5 year service pack if you paid your deposit before the new service pack kicked in.
I told my dealer if he wouldn't give me the 5 year pack for original price I would walk.
At the end of the day dealer has enough margin if he wants a happy customer !

I've just been told by my dealer, they have an unused slot so my expected Delivery date of December has been brought forward to a Week 8 build slot.

Very pleased, now I need to start getting my mod's together for when it arrives.

No. When I booked the order it was at 5 years, at the point of paying it all and collecting the car, the only option was 3 years for the same price, so I declined. It's not good value.

After the initial hype, hmm it does look an expensive car to PCP in the UK IMO. Needs to be bought cash which is a limited number of people once Bimmerpost type due hards have theirs.

I cancelled mine eventually 6 months before delivery and it was still not sold by the time it came in. Certainly sat in the showroom for a few weeks at least.

Agreed,

Expensive car full stop for what it is without the S55,considering the discounts available on the *40i ...

M2 UK servicing prices?

Can Anyone give me the cost of the run in service and cost of fist major service at BMW?
Can't believe £1000 for 3 years ! Must be cheaper if you do low mileage.

Still better value £ per driving thrills in standard form than an M4.

Just moved from US to the UK, how hard is it to get an allocation for M2 at this point? Saw one in person for the first time, looks so good in person...pictures don't do it justice.

If you ping me I might be able to put you thru a BMW dealership who apparently can source one fairly quick.

Thanks for the offer, I'm buying a 2 Series Gran Tourer so that dealership may be able to get me a build...debating if I want to wait the 9-12months it will take...they have one in DCT avail now but I want manual!

So...how are we liking the M2 on UK roads with the 6MT...?

With the auto rev match, is it in theory impossible to stall it?...and does the car sort of creep like a ZF 8AT?

You know what I never notice the auto rev match... not unless I really try to be numptie... Maybe after 20 years I'm just a boss at rev matching myself

My car isn't due at the dealer until around the 10th March and I asked about the 5 year servicing as I originally included it on the order form when I paid my deposit. Just had them confirm today that my five year plan will still be honoured for March delivery. Wouldn't take the plan otherwise, even for three years at £800.
