I wish it was just a $1000 exercise but even with the expense of a HPFP, installation, and a custom tune it is worth it to me.

Dropping 75+lb with Recaros and this power bump will be the final evolution of my M2 and get me close to around 3300lb with 430whp on race gas at the track pump. It’s a combination capable enough to run incredibly quick laps while remaining daily duty friendly which has been the goal all along.

M2CS power while weighing less and sounding better. Fits 18s and Schroth Quick fit harnesses. Solid proposition for a dual duty M2.

Also, MILVS is out of stock of everything.

will Pure continue to make the PS2? Being in CA, having the BMW stamps on the turbo is pretty important to me when looking at turbo upgrades... (plus the ability to run it on the stock tune)

I got bought a house, got married and now I’m a father all in a year and a half - so I haven’t been able to do all that I wanted to with the car.
If the S55 is any indication (and if I ever have a chance to install the MILVS) You could make an extra 20-25whp at redline on the stock turbo, and give a powerband that’s likely similar to what the P500 could do.
To me, yes.

And similar to your situation but she's 3 and another one due in a month. So I'm totally with you on use of time and not wanting a long endeavor of back and forth to get something the way I want. This is why I'm looking for something simple, even if it doesn't yield massive results, costs a little more overall and leaves some power on the table.

This is exactly what is important to me.

Can't say for certain, but it's still on Pure's website (for now anyway).

I’ve had my 2014 335i xDrive for almost 5 years now. I’ve loved every moment behind the wheel. There’s been lots of suspension tweaks to get the car feeling like handling like a BMW should, maybe better. Also I nice BBK upgrade to help me stop consistently and hard on track like the GT3’s. The xDrive, combined with the great n55 low and mid range torque helps propel me out of the corners. But it’s never long before the dropping off top end helps those GT3 cars get past me on the straights. So I’ve been waiting for someone to make a stage 1.5ish turbo. Basically, a compressor that will get around 500ish crank horsepower on a track friendly tube. But have a stock sized turbine that flows better than stock, without giving up the spool the way a clipped, stock turbine does. Now I have it in the Pure500.
I did talk with Pure about it. They said it was supposed to be a stage between the 1 and 2. So they names it Pure500 so there would be no confusing it with either the stage 1 or 2 nomenclature.
Pure also stated the compressor is a little bigger than the previous stage 1 and flows just a little less than the tte460. But, because of the turbine upgrade, which is gt28 style, but stock size, will hold boost to redline. They also stated that, on the ewg at least, it’ll do 450ish wheel horsepower maxed out. Perfect!
Now I’m a kid again. Just waiting to install it, drive it, and see how I match up to the GT3 cars on the straights!

Thanks man. Sounds like a great thing.

What's best bet to OTS run this for pump gas only, BM3 I think?

We'll have to wait and see for a 100% accurate answer.

Houtan from the one series forum used a prototype of the Pure750; it was called PS3 at the time. He posted a lot of data.
So I hear you’re giving a good incentives for someone that’s wanting to test out the pure turbo750?
Are you still looking?

Depends, pump gas or E85? If it’s pump gas and stock HPFP, I don’t see a big difference between the two, but MHD seems more consistent.

On HPFP/E85 - MHD has a new map pack, but have been silent on what’s different, so I would lean BM3.

Pump yeh.

I mean I know BM3 has 'stg 1 turbo' OTS tunes right?

I didn't think MHD did, though maybe need to interface and see what's on offer

Stg 2+ Multimap with the PTF Flex Fuel sensor and E40-60 is as easy as it gets to add power. Guessing you’d hit 480whp with the Pure 500: https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1884838
IMO E50 is the sweetspot for the N55 EWG because E85 also requires a Dorch2 and and LPFP upgrade. But since I already have those, I’m curious what a Pure500 will do on E85. I’ve gotta find a local AWD dyno in the Philly/South Jersey area.

They have a PS2 in stock. I just returned mine in exchange for the 750.

Have the Dorche HPFP, and a few other parts on hand awaiting delivery of the 750. Will be running custom 93 and e40/50 tunes. Currently on stage 2+mhd.

Shooting for 600 with a nice curve. We'll see

I feel you. Ordered my PS2 in November, they sent N54 turbo's in December. Had to ship those back. Then my ps2 finally showed up and they released the pure750 as I was getting ready to install the PS2. So I spent $100 to ship it back and like you I am awaiting an invoice and my turbo. Wish I got the deal these other's are being offered, but whatever. I'll be enjoying the power hopefully in april/may...
