Production Tracking new method...well almost :(

Well I was able to download my owner's manual using the VIN a two days after the car was Dispatched from AG (190).

Then today, I had the bright idea to add the car to the Connected Drive and track it via GPS. The VIN accepted, completed all my info then the last screen comes up...enter the code shown on the iDrive screen...Doh!!

Connectdrive has to be activated by a dealer, the data and GPS service won't work while the vehicle is in Transport Mode.

It's actually unlocked by the dealer, once they've confirmed registration and delivery of said customer.
