Bucket Seat Questions

Hey all,
I am adding a half cage and bucket seats to my M2C, I got the StudioRSR cage, and this is the seat im convinced on
https://www.bimmerworld.com/Safety-R...re-visibi.html

My questions are if this seat fits in the M2C, as well as what mounts are best? And does anyone have experience with this seat?

Thanks in advance,
Nico

I would call BW who can confirm fit.

no experience with the seat but if the car is going to see anything but track that seat would creating a pretty big blind spot

On the Sparco Ergo seats, the head protection extensions are removable for street.

… I have these seats in my '18 and I used Sparco mounts. Sliders create a weak point, so I skipped those. This creates an issue for tall or short drivers, but I wasn't willing to trade safety to accommodate others.

I leave the ears on both seats and just remove the left ear when I drive to the track. Leaving the ear on is technically illegal and you could be ticketed (if they can catch you

The issue is the halo clearance to the window. I saw one application to sparco Ergo on m2 that he can't close the window with halo ln

I have the large seat on the passenger side and it is a tight squeeze, but it works. I made a video when I installed the half cage and you may be able to see the seat position in it …

It looks great! I went with the black finish on the cage since I may end up wrapping my car down the line, it was the safer choice

I have seen a few people complain about StudioRSR and their shipping times. How long did it take for you to get yours?

Thanks for the video, I would get the medium so if the Large seat can barely make it, you think I would safe with the M?
