Had a photographer contact me to do an evening photoshoot with the M2... I think the results turned out amazing!! He's a talented guy!

He was very talented... and it's a very true representation of the color as well!

Wow, great photos! Crazy what a real camera can go compared to a crappy cell phone.

Fantastic looking photos and car! I have to say though I think in most photos of LBB and these included it makes it look very much like estoril blue as opposed to a turquiose blue/green which when I went and saw it in person really seems to be more of the true color and what LBB actually is. Just imo

LBB does change color a bit depending on lighting. These photos are very much true to life most of the time. Sometimes, the car does take on more of a teal tone but the color in the photos is accurate in most natural lighting and direct sun. Overcast sometimes causes more teal.

I say this because I was actually quite interested in the photos from a color perspective while he was taking them. We actually discussed the photos vs. the real life car and what we were seeing was a very good representation. That's not to say LBB doesn't take on more of a teal tone, but 80% of the time it looks just like these photos.

The photo below is the VERY best representation of what we were seeing in real life and what I see almost all of the time I'm looking at the car...

Here is another I just took in the sun. It is also the same color my naked eyes are seeing.

These are both very true to life color representations I suppose the car might be slightly lighter in color than the photos but it is only subtly lighter.

I think you're right - without bright sunlight the blue looks deeper and more rich... but in the picture above and it could be just me but in the sunlight it really takes on that teal or turquoise or ocean green or whatever way you want to describe it color as opposed to a simple blue. that's the main reason I personally didn't go with a LBB as I didn't like the teal tint in sunlight. I really like bmw's estoril blue they had on the m235 and probably would have went with that if it was an option. but without any other choices of actual color than LBB (white/black/grey dont count) I went with BSM. I think BMW is really making a point with this M2 with almost no exterior choices and one interior that its all about the car and not the aesthetics. You want those than buy an M4. Man does the M4 have some beautiful colors, that orange and yellow they have are wow.

I like the slight teal in the LBB color. I never liked the estriol blue color.

I was out today in Malibu by the beach in the bright sunlight and people were going crazy over the color. It looked amazing. The metallic in the paint is just gorgeous, IMO and many people commented on that. The Estoril Blue is really boring in comparison.

Exactly!

I agree, Estoril blue is one of the most boring blues out there IMO. It's too standard looking. LBB on the other hand is spectacular. I was 99% in the AW camp but once I saw an LBB M2 in person it changed my mind.

My favorite shot from last week with a bit of touch up - who says cell photos always have to be crappy? Haha

It's part of the recall, so can't take it home but did get to spend an afternoon with it.

Looks great, trying to make out the colour of the wheels though, bronze?

I think it looks worse. Appears not to have any spacers on it, which you need to do if you lower. And painting the wheels? Why?
