So the linkpipe has been installed and I have done the first highway miles in the car... Christ it is loud when you open the valves.
I would not see why you want to open the valves while cruising. It might be an experience when driving across some mountain roads, but luckily you can close them. Over the weekend I will make a decent video of how it sounds and I will write another update for everyone. For now, I honestly ask myself the question why you would add a catless downpipe to this set up. I now need to remove the ASD, because it has become completely obsolete. MR |

Sounds great MR (literally)
Re cars with early software, let's face it as soon as you go for run in service they will update it anyway so you can't rely on that. If you get a CEL without OPF im sure it will just be a minor emissions check code with no limp mode, same as removing / defective CATS etc. You can drive it with the CEL on if you like, but to get rid of the light you'll need a tune / ecu program. Be interesting to see if Bootmod3 release a tune with OPF delete soon.... |

I think the amount of cars having this software is quite limited. Mine was produced at the end of August even, and so far I heard of a handful cars having this option and all those were really early ones. MR |

No need for that! Just being awkward in the software department if that is the case. |

Cancelling ASD, from what I read that is a better solution than just deactivating it through coding because of the some static noise or something ? Somebody can maybe explain more

Or maybe with the harness you can disable permanently the ASD, and not only "on demand" as with bimmerlink.

Installed Awron display in the air vent today... Easy installation done by the guys at Manhart Performance. They did it before in my car.

Where's the new Akra exhaust video?
I don't believe the sounds from the other video until I can see the car in motion....

Yup! Be aware that if you switch from one to another car, you need to reset the display accordingly. Contact Awron to get this done.
Mine currently tells me my car has 700 Nm and 500 hp hahah and it is not tuned MR |

And this is how the Akrapovic exhaust on my car sounds like with a linkpipe instead of the OPFs
And this is how it sounds in comparison to a stock M2C with OPF Read my thoughts here: https://drivetribe.com/p/akrapovics-...source=network MR |
