New here. Which exhaust system?
Hallo,
In 1 week I will have my first BMW! I'm looking forward to it. I always been a big Audi fan... I had a new Audi s3 for one year. It was a good car. But one day I drove a //M2c and a //M3 E92 on track and I directly fell in love with BMW. The S3 felt so boring... So the only negative thing for me is the sound from the M2C... (EU version) Now I'm looking for an OPF back system. Which one do you guys recommend? I was thinking about Remus or Milltek. Soundclips would be great |

I have a Bimmer branded M Performance exhaust, but it hangs down. Consider that in your search maybe.
Sound is cool though, stock wasn't all the bad (no OPF) in the first place, but anything will be even better sounding i bet.

What are the reasons to go with an exhaust option that doesn't require cutting?

My car is also a Euro spec with OPF in the stock midpipes.
The car has zero sound. Its shocking. Just finished the 2,000km run in and oil change. Ordered the Active Autowerks single midpipe and kept the original downpipes (with cats) and original muffler. Should improve the sound significantly. Don't let anyone convince you that changing the midpipe with void your warranty. |

I'm looking at the Dinan exhaust. They've got a great sound clip and its 1/2 the cost of the MPE.

this sounds good. a local owner had the Remus axle back exhaust mated to the Ackropovic downpipe and link pipe. it's a track oriented build and he said the car sounded better with the deeper Remus sound rather than the Ackropovic slip-on muffler/tail pipes. I will have to listen to it next time I'm around his neck of the woods.
