Greetings.
Coming back to BMW after about 18 months after trading in my 135is. Pretty happy to be back. Picked her up today. Had to drive most of the day for this special pickup. Reminds me of when I had to catch a flight to pick-up my 135is. - Hockenheim Silver - Exec Package - 6MT - No Sunroof - Blue Stitch Here's some pics from today. Drove the car still wrapped from shipment with zero miles from the dealer to DetailersDomain for a new a car prep and some Xpel PPF. Cannot wait to see her again in about a week. If you want to see all the work done for the new car prep, feel free to follow DD on IG. |

Phil from DetailersDomain is certifiably SUPER HUMAN. he only has one setting - ALL OUT! as posted yesterday, my M2C was dropped off at his shop late last night. well, we woke up early today and started sending all these teaser pics. it will be very hard for me to wait a full week until i pick it up.
for anyone having second thoughts about getting this done, DON'T! just call him and talk to the man directly. if you are not following him on Instram, you are missing out on this man's work - they're all masterpieces. enough typing. here are some pics! #BRAZZERS |

well, after enjoying the clean car during pickup, we needed to take her home. she got very dirty during the trip. glad i picked up some extra cleaning gear from DetailersDomain to help maintain it. very glad that it was protected with PPF and coated for added protection.

Pleasantly surprised to see DetailersDomain actually put a Nanolex decal in my door jamb to show that the car was treated.
Also shocked to notice how close the pump gets to the body.

just sharing some random pics...
winter tires were mounted on my stock wheels at Detailer's Domain. i went with Pirelli Sottozero 3 in a square 255/35/19 setup. fronts are perfectly fine but the rears are stretched with the wheel very exposed. luckily, the roads by me are nicely maintained. i do not have to worry too much but still need to be cautious. for a car that's in the $60k price range, i was a little upset on how the keys/remotes looked like. the cheaper Golf R had a nicer way of highlighting the specialness of the model... finally, since the car was pretty dirty/salty from the drive home, i decided to take it to a local detailer for a wash. i provided the shop the car shampoo and the drying agent/sealant to help protect the coating applied.

small update on the Xpel and Nanolex cermic coating...
Still holding up very well. Car has about 3k miles now. Lots of rain help make the dirt just slide right off. I need a maintenance wash soon... Improved fuel consumption. Got 27.1mpg on my last 200 mile drive. You can tell that the car is slowly getting broken in as the miles add up.

Apologies folks...life happened and took over.
'Tis the season...for washing!! Finally took the winter tires off and mounted the MPSS that came with the car back on. I was going to save the summer tires for a different set but I just can't decided what to get quite yet...
