Sounds amazing. ! Loud. ! Deep!
Feels faster. Can hear turbos spool.
Just. Oh so loud. So good.

Very happy.

Little smell when stopped. At light.
Idk if exhaust or. Kinda a new smell burning off. Maybe.

AutoTecknic M-Inspired mirrors painted by IND-Distribution. Installation took like 10-15 minutes each mirror.

Installed Wagner Tuning Evo 1 Comp FMIC and ER ChargePipes (not pictured) a couple weeks ago. The butt dyno is quite happy with these. Power output feels much more consistent. Throttle response is nice and tight, with no increase in turbo lag. Now I'm just missing a tune, but I'm not sure if I'll go down that route with the crappy CA gas.

Why that one over the VSRF FMIC?

I was chatting with Mike over at XPH and he recommended this set up for my needs. It's unlikely, I'll ever see the track, but I wanted more consistency and longevity out of the n55. I also like that Wagner is TUV certified for extra piece of mind.

Well there is an ACN tune now if you decide to go that route.

Put it on a boat, in a barn and back on a boat!

Quick trip to northern Michigan via the Lake Express ferry.

Does anyone know of an easy way to remove the OEM grills so that I can replace them with all black? I have tried for two days and cannot push the tabs down to release the grills. Help !

An easy way... No. You end up cutting your hands and wrists to shit removing the grills, but it is possible.

To be honest, the 'correct' way is to remove the bumper, and that really isn't as difficult as it sounds. That's actually an easy way, with no cut wrists etc. But most people prefer the short cut.

I ended up with a few scrapes but no blood drawn. Definitely a PITA to do but not impossible unless you have larger arms

Finally cleaned all the bugs off the car. Took maybe an hour. Ugh.

This was from a 3 hour trip to Tampa a couple of weeks back. Very few bugs the whole way, then about 10 miles outside of Tampa, wham. It's like some mad scientist at the mile marker forgot to lock the door on his den of evil bugs, and they all got out and waited for my car.

Most were on the front bumper. I'm glad I have PPF on there.

I did read about the ACN tune. Is it running well? I haven't seen many logs or complaints posted about the tune itself.

Do you get any extra wind noise?

I have them and get extra noise above 30 mph and a whistle at 60 mph.

Not sure why you guys don't wear rubber gloves.

Wearing 6mm nitro gloves are a must for any install.

The hands weren't scraped. It was the upper forearm near the elbows for me. No gloves would cover that and I'm not wearing dishwasher gloves that cover the forearms for something as easy as a grille change

I have huge hands so I get it.

I buy beer and get one my friends with small hands to do the grunt work.

It's a real B to do ideally have someone pull bumper back to free up.your hands.

Expect bruises on the forearm but it's worth it

Yes, I do! I was going to try putting some painters tape over the seem where the colored cover meets the lower portion to see if it was that, or if it was just the actual shape of the mirror making the noise.
