HELP | Best tire sizes for my new 9.5/10.5 wheels?

Hey folks, I'm getting a set of MRR FS01 wheels on my 2018 M2. They're 9.5'' for the front and 10.5" for the rear. I also want to get H&R sport springs in a couple months so the car will be lowered. H&R states the front gets lowered by 1 inch while the rear gets lowered by 0.8 inches.

What's the best tire size to get to avoid rubbing while having the best/most optimal tire contact patch for street + occasional tracking. My current crappy conti 3's are running bald so I need to pull the trigger on some PS4S ASAP.

My gut says 255/35/19 and 275/35/19's but I'm not sure. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

With those sizes and offsets you have several choices.

245/35 • 265/35
255/35 • 275/35
265/30 • 285/30 (my favorite)

You can even choose the 295/30 for the rear if you like. 10.5 +45 is flawless fitment when dropped a bit, so 295/30 should fit without issue.

It's possible you could need a small spacer in the front, but I don't think so, all those sizes should fit.

I'm running 275/30+295/30 PS4S on Apex EC-7s with same width, same/similar offsets and Eibach pro-kit springs, no issues at all.

I was thinking about 255/35 275/35 because I can get star spec for these PS4s.. recently saw a video on youtube breaking down star spec vs regular ps4s and the results were quite dramatic.

Awesome! Have you done any tracking at all with this setup?

Yeah, that tire size will work no problem.

I just finished reading another thread where I saw you pop up a couple times, seems like 265/30 and 285/30 is a great combo too, especially on 9.5'' and 10.5'' wheels. Appreciate all the help, just got to make up my mind at this point.

I like that combo a lot, as does Dinan, but the tire choices weren't there until recently, and the PS4S became available in those sizes.

For guys at stock height it'll make the gap look bigger, but for lowered suspensions on 9.5 & 10.5, I don't think the combo can be beat.

no, and I'd likely throw some better rubber on the stock wheels and use those, vs tearing up the PS4S and my nice wheels

Definitely going for that setup then since I'll be lowering the car in the future, cheers!
