Love it, and the stock diffuser painted in gloss black looks amazing.

I prefer the 437's. I think the new mesh ZCP wheels need a little concavity, a la e46 & e92 zcp design.

Hey, here we are at least 4 months later. Wondering how the wrap is holding up. The vinyl is much thinner than a paint protection film and just wonder how susceptible it is to tearing. Also, do scratches "heal", like an xpel film? I'm considering a wrap to go matt, but a color change would be much more adventurous and actually less expensive. I've also heard of going vinyl and then doing film over the front clip. This is probably also cheaper than a $6k full xpel wrap. I need to really think about this now, because for a color change a black car is best choice.
I'm guessing you didn't get much driving in during the winter though...

6k? I was quoted 4000 for the entire car in xpel ultimate.

Hook me up!
I think the ultimate wrap is cheaper than Stealth though. And probably easier to apply. I also see very little point in wrapping the doors roof and trunk, rather than spending about $1k on the front clip.

I didn't do the whole car for that reason lol. I paid $1250 for the front bumper, hood, headlights and mirrors at eurotech motor sports in Mahwah NJ. I dropped it off at 9am and had it back by 5. Good people. Also a certified installer so it's warrantied.

If you take a good wrap you have no problems and it looks like the first day. I think an Xpel is certainly more resistant than a Supreme.

Good choice.
I won't bother to ask the OP, because wrap costs in Germany and here aren't comparable. I think a vinyl wrap is much cheaper though and then $1200 for the front clip probably works out thousands less than a full expel wrap.

i got xpel ultimate because it self heals and in my opinion is much better than vinyl for protecting paint. but i got it solely for paint protection. had i wanted a color change i'd have wrapped it in vinyl obviously. so it really depends what you're trying to achieve and what your budget is.

Indeed, sorry for the misunderstanding. Vinyl is not going to provide any paint protection at all. Some people do vinyl on whole car and then xpel the front, just for that reason. A vinyl wrap is much cheaper because it is thinner, so I assume it is much easier to work with.

I think a vinyl wrap only provides a light paint protection. The paint has no damage with small stones, but the film has a damage.

How is the painted diffuser holding up? I had thought of doing that too but was afraid he heat back there might hurt the finish.

Looks even better in person. Parked in between two 458 Speciales and it still got attention.
