multimedia/external connection problems

start up the m2, ding ding ding ding ding ding. . .ding, about 6 more dings than usual startup ding. external connection says the aux is connected, nothing is in the aux plug. this would not be an issue but it seems it wont let anything else connect ie bluetooth, usb. radio works fine, but i mostly listen to spotify via bluetooth connection. ive tried resetting the radio, have not done a battery unplug, but am considering that for tonight.

any ideas or should i just take it to the dealership?

update: BMW genius was not super helpful, but we went through a bunch of standard stuff, finally said bring it to the dealership. woof

unplugged the battery let it sit, started up with same issue
