Thanks for sharing
Thanks , never tried JB4 but I have had a few friends that have used it with good results but not "smooth". Luckily the week I took delivery and really started ordering mods the bootmod3 beta was released. So I never seriously considered JB4. So far clutch packs are good. Really the only time I WOT is when I am logging, or on the dyno. Besides that, the car is PLENTY fast for me.

Again, can you explain to someone from Sweden, what have you done? What is "bootmod3"? And JB4? ECU-mods or what? You can keep it short, but I dont quite get what has been done to your M2. Thx

proTUNING Freaks created Bootmod3
http://www.protuningfreaks.com/pages/bootmod3-faq

bootmod3 is a full custom tuning platform for the factory engine computer (ECU/DME) that provides the end user with mobile applications for Android, iOS and Web Browser enabled devices

What OP has done to his M2 using a Bootmod3 Beta Flash Map is achieve results on dyno & drivability that has not been done with "Piggyback systems' before. I'll leave it there

Norcalmav23 Hope you dont mind

How many ounces do you put to bring your 91 to 93? Assuming the 13.7 tank is full with 91.

Does the small amount of boostane that you use, cause the injectors or exhaust to turn orange (build up from octane boosters)?

Thanks! Super sweet build!!

The first tank I put in a full 17oz. After that most of my fill ups are right around the 12 gallon mark. Whatever is left in the tank is already at 93oct so I just use about 13 to 14oz. Honestly I'm not sure if it's changing colors.

Ok, Thx. I remapped my M135, but that was with "piggyback system". And although I am very pleased with how it drives - I notice it sometimes; like a small delay. And for my M2, that I plan on tune maybe late this year or early next year, I want NO "extra delay." So maybe this "Bootmod3" is the way to go? I plan on buying new intake (Gruppe M), and maybe new intercooler as well? I already have another exhaust - I went for Akrapovic. You seem to know what u r talking about, what do you think about that? I am not after "as much power as possible", more like some extra power after I have gotten used to it as it is now. Thx,/ Andreas

Save your money (Intake) use it for Intercooler and/or downpipe instead (better mods and you will see a difference). I would get a AFE Pro Dry filter instead. These are essential paired up with a Bootmod3 Flash from here you can go anywhere.

Ok, thx again. So you think intercooler and downpipe? But you must know that I am not going to remove the cat - but Akrapovic have a downpipe with street legal race/sport cat. But even then you think I should skip an expensive air intake?

I've been compiling quotes and as of right now I'm actually leaning towards a PI setup and getting a 93oct map and E85 map created for maximum flexibility. I'm very tempted to wait for this solution to come out though... love the oem nature of it.

Yes, this would be perfect idea IMO as looks like same route I should be heading towards too.
I've chatted with EOS too in this regard, going to be interested in the next few weeks since it will be released soon. Excited to see, their S55 manifold showed 48whp gain in mid-range over stock.

Do you have a link to results showing the gains of the s55 manifold? Nothing on their site from what I saw. It would be interesting and I too like the stock approach. What I really like is their PI system is about a 1/3 of Fuel Its. From what I see the only thing missing is the lines and the AIC controller.

Damn! That amount of torque would make a very fast feeling street/city car.

Hi, has your tune been smoothed out? I am considering grabbing the pure stage 2 but would run it on 93 octane for the road course. Would love to make 440whp on 93 octane dead nuts reliable for the track, with a smooth progressive throttle pedal.

Version 6 of the map that I'm running is almost perfect. I can't consistently trigger the hpfp issue on it. When it does happen it's at 6.5k+. When I'm driving fast I shift by 5.5k... really no need to go to redline.

As for reliability, I did my first real drive yesterday morning... I wanted to push it hard for 40+ mins and make sure no issues came up before heading to the track in the coming months. Suspension, brakes, tires, performance... car is completely done so it was time. ZERO issues, was probably above 3k 90% of the time... car handled the thrashing like a champ and is definitely ready for the track

Catless DP, stock exhaust. I originally planned to get the Remus exhaust because it isn't crazy expensive, and truly bolts on... no cutting. After getting the catless DP and BM3 tune the car sounds perfect to me. With very little performance to be gained with any exhaust on the M2, I think I'm actually going to keep the exhaust stock... flaps open 100% of the time though
