Step 2 in Colorado- Detail (your frustrations).

Make your detailing appointment (tech bath, ppf repair, ceramic touchup) in January for an April date..... four months of lead time.

Bid (and use up) two rare days off in a row in early March so you'll be home to drop off and pick up the car in April, due to logistics with your job and only being physically home ten days a month.

Have your wife arrange her work schedule to pick you up after dropping the car off.

Find out that it's supposed to snow.... SNOW in Denver the day you're supposed to pick up your car on the date you picked out FOUR MONTHS earlier.

Beg the detailer to store the car until a day next week when you're home and it's not snowing.

The wife's unavailable, so Uber to the shop to pick up the car and drive home.

Check four..... FOUR..... different weather sites on your first "Date Night" after detailing. Weather is forecast clear with zero chance of precipitation.

Drive Wife and girlfriend to fancy wine dinner downtown.

Drive home in rain, sleet and snow, completely destroying the time, effort and money of the detail job.

Welcome to Colorado!

(Sigh.)

Made a new friend while pumping gas so we turned it into a mini meet at the nearest parking lot.

Misano is immediately noticeable from a distance and looks great in person. Quite envious of the *pop* in color.

Gave up on the MP diffuser install. Didn't feel comfortable yanking that hard and seeing the bumper flex. My f80 wasn't this hard to do.

I'll have to find a shop to do it

Looking to do the same soon and was hoping it wasn’t such a bitch which it sounds like, which part of it made it difficult? I’ve done the install on a few F80s and it was really straight forward and the F87 looks like it shouldn’t be too bad but I hear otherwise now 😕

the pull tabs require a bit of force but aren't bad and screws are easy.
side tabs holding the diffuser in are easy
the center tabs are the hard part.

i wasn't about to stick a trim piece tool against the diffuser/paint like i saw some youtube guys do.

A bit of leverage (pry tool) will free those center tabs from the diffuser. Work from the sides first to free the diffuser enough to allow a gap then stick the pry tool in. Pull and use the tool at the same time, it will come free.

Lol I took off the stock diffuser today. Screws and bolts are easy to take off. The middle clips are a bitch to take off. I will need very little touch up paint for it 🤦🏻.

I bought the RW diffuser. Fitment is about 95% on. Two of the screws I cannot put on but should be fine…. I’m not anal about these things so it’s ok. Way better than paying OEM prices.

Will put on the other exhaust tips when I get a wooden block.

Very Nice! Looks familiar.
Also in Colorado (Littleton)...mine was delivered from FL a couple weeks ago. Purchased from a BP forum member. Already had pretty dark tint (i think 10%-15%). Had port installed carbon mirror caps and rear spoiler but other than that stock.
My mods so far = Richland forged wheels (w stretched stock/OEM tires for now), IND painted side markers, Autotecknic carbon front splash guards. Other than a mild tune from Enabled at some point, proper coilover+Camber plate set up, and Autosolutions SSK I plan to leave it as is.

Took ~20/min to drop some weight with removing the back seats. Still debating on going with a rear seat delete, full cage, stern performance delete, or run it as is for now… any feedback with your current set-up and some of the pros/cons is much appreciated.

Cheers 🍻

watch out with Stern. I got some of their stuff and it was one of the worst experiences ever. Bad communication, empty promises over and over again. Eventually got the stuff but from 1 week promise to over 2 months wait, crazy
