Great company to be in. The F87 M2 is an exceptional car and will go down as a legend in the BMW world, right up there with the likes of the E46 M3.

Everyone complains about the M2 CS price, I think it's 5k over what it should be, in the US. But that's small potatoes to the two cars in the world that Top Gear says are better, each costing over 100k more. It certainly starts to look cheap in that company.

Thatís a bit misleading. It was by comparison with the other cars present there. And itís not in the whole world just Great Britain, because TG doesnít test cars available exclusively in the US or Japan, etc.

Results may have been different if there had been a GT3 or GT4 in the mix.

That said, the CS did an amazing job representing BMW.

Message to BMW management . . take everything you've learned building the M2CS, and deploy it in the next generation M2 at an entry level price point. Post-COVID, the world needs a leaner M2 that everyday drivers can afford. Such a model would also put BMW back on top in the increasingly competitive "drivers car" domain . . it has slipped from this pedestal in the past decade.

Sadly, it does not seem to be what the market wants. It wants hip looking plush luxury packed cars that excel at 0-60. Not really in line with what we enthusiast desire.

Nice to see the CS in the company of 992!

Somehow even more satisfying when it's the same reviewer who hated the M4 GTS so much!

I really love the hood.

Going to be itching to pick up one of these babies in a few years when they show up used.
