Don't think it's me, because you said an eggplant is a type of aubergine. Which I take to mean you think an eggplant is part of the aubergine family. But aubergine is not a classification of vegetable, but the British name for the same vegetable.

Not that that invalidates your question. Maybe my state is getting fed wrong or different info than yours.

All good points, although I meant it as it's a type of eggplant (British version) and was not necessarily trying to lay out the the family tree of a vegetable, but social security cards revoked? Seemed a bit extreme no?

I think we are all missing the point:
Eggplant and aubergine may be equal, but they are not equal in length (if we are talking number of letters sequentially or number of syllables).
