Lol was actually about to buy a 997.1 turbo today but the wife decided she didn’t like the fact it was that old...so ended up buying another M2 instead... but got myself a M2C.

Excited to get back into a manual, I had originally sold my M2 last year.


The only thing I’m doing to it is to add the M Performancevoil overs in, which I also had the last time around...


Price and rates are just too good to pass up given the car.

Really nice! I was also going in a similar direction with the 981 GTS, but wanted the extra space the M2 provided. Ended up putting an order for an M2C. Cant wait for it to arrive in a few months!

You should get rid of or paint the rear muffler black haha

Congrats, the 997 turbo would've been a mistake to go for, I've had one and it is not nearly as fun or balanced, no competition, excuse the pun 😂

Yeah the 997 turbo was actually the old tip...tbh it felt kind of slow...I wanted it more for the nostalgia... I had a similar year Cayman S in manual and that was a much more aggressive car...not entirely sure if it was the auto/tip vs the manual.

Wife decided she wasn’t cool with a 13 year old car and said go figure out something else. I thought about the current model C2S and C4S but just didn’t do it for me. I would have entertained another Cayman possibly the GT4 but there are no rear seats...

I thought about the supra...since I’ve had one but it kills me that they’ve watered it down so much vs the Ft1

So As I went through what I really enjoyed driving and being mindful that I needed a rear seat... the M2 just keeps coming up especially with the new suspension and s55 engine

Also getting about 10% off and near 0% financing rate makes it a no brainer.

Highly recommend replica for the lip
Especially if you're getting coils too, it's already a pretty low front end from the lot

What replica would you recommend? I like the look of the M performance front lip but can't justify $1300+ on something I'm going to scrape or break. At least on my GT3 the part is plastic and replaceable for $300 (and car has a front lift too).

I guess it's really about what style of lip you want to go for first.

If you like the look of the Mperf lip then I'd say look around on eBay.

Lots of good enough replicas on there.

Personally the CS lip had my attention and I picked up a replica from Vicrez for like 900, oem being 2300 I'm pretty sure.
