Im curious who is making the F8X M2/3/4 automatic gearbox ? Is it ZF ? They call it M DCT , is it from BMW?

BMW don't make there own gearbox's as most don't. Their manuals are usually Getrag as previously said and the automatics since approx early 2000's went from Chrysler I think to ZF. There is no auto in the M2/3/4 i.e. both don't have torque converters but clutches it's just electronically operated like the gear change
