Yes except for the quad tips. It is just stupid crazy expensive. I bet the prices drop fast enough. IF it makes no power, then I need nothing else in the noise department to get my ass pulled over. For that kind of dough I can buy a Groupe M Intake and a way better designed cat-less downpipe.

At some point yes. When are you getting your car?

Yep. It is like this...

You buy a phone... You need a case now... A new car adapter, and screen protector, and so on.

IF they included the Tips in the price they'd never get it in your mouth in one bite. Two bites, no problem, until you realize how much you ate.

There was a thread I just posted on titled "M2 Exhaust sounds and Autobahn driving" with clips of the stock exhaust sounding pretty damn good. Anyone know why that thread was deleted?

Is it confirmed that Akra is even making an exhaust for the M2? They don't always make systems for everything, and often do overlook cars you think would be for sure in their plans.

Or, will the M3/M4 system fit the M2?

«Hello and thank you for your interest in Akrapovic !
As the Swedish agent for Akrapovic automotive systems, we received your request for this system. When the development time of each system is very long, there is a limited capacity how many new versions to be developed every year. From a BMW perspective we work at present with X5M system and then takes priority on the new M2, as in the current situation there are no plans to release something to the M235i in 2015. If this were to change, we will feed back to you with information.»

In that case I am in 1000%! Had an Akra on my Scirocco R and it was pure symphony. That was a 4 cylinder. Can only imagine how good it will sound on the M2. I assume very similar to the M4!

As the M2 seem to sound great stock and the MPE is too dqmn expensive for the cars segment I can't see they will sell many of those.

So if the stock exhaust has a valved feature, then what does the Bluetooth toy do on the MPE? Does the MPE take away the built in functionality of the valves? Sounds like a ricer feature unless it opens up a second level of valves or can open the cats. lol

Noticed that too. But then it resurfaced as a 3 clips in 1 compilation.

Silly me, but I'm missing the point here. So we're talking about $3500 not including labor to install a new muffler and 'exhaust tips' on a new car. Said muffler has 'bluetooth' which means what, you can diddle your exhaust with an iphone? Perhaps if you program it just right it will sing 'Deutschland uber alles"? It adds nothing to the functionality of the car, or so BMW discloses, so one must imagine that is true, as they would hardly consider that a selling point.

I feel a bit like Rip Van Winkle... fell asleep for a couple of decades and awoke to find the world slightly askew. Can one of you more up to date, techno savvy millennials please explain to me why on earth any human being of reasonable intelligence would want one of these gizmos, even if it were free... and clearly it is far from that?

Just asking. Surely I must have missed something.
