Best way to remove 3M trunk spoiler?

What's the best way to remove a trunk spoiler attached with 3M tape? I'd like to take it off to try another spoiler.

Garage List
A heat gun, some dental floss and a lot of patience has worked for me. Spent about the same amount of time removing the double-sided tape once the spoiler was off.

Fishing line/dental floss to remove old spoiler and a eraser wheel mounted on a drill to remove the remaining double sided tape.

As others have stated, 15lbs+ fishing line and 3M Eraser. The eraser is literally the best thing to remove adhesive tape [just a couple of minutes]. It's what i've been using and safe on the paint - a bit pricey, and like a pencil eraser, it will eventually wear off but totally worth it.

A Dremmel and felt wheel worked magic removing the left over tape on trunk. Start at the edge and work with the Dremmel on low into the tape and it pulls the rubber 3m tape off like magic. The rubber sticks to the felt wheel which in turn pulls the rubber off even quicker. Stop periodically to remove the rubber balls sticking to the felt wheel and then keep going. Turned a 1+ hour job with blistered thumbs into a 10 minute joy. Left a polished perfect paint finish.

There’s a rubber eraser wheel that will remove excess adhesive quickly and painlessly.

Leave the car in the bad section of the neighborhood over night. It'll be gone by morning and you wouldn't have had to lift a finger.
