Thanks guys! I figured it out, but wanted to ask first. Here's a bit of details for others.
Take the engine cover off which just pops up, no screws, pull up from the back first and then the front. Trace the cables up to the two plugs which are held in by metal clips. The plugs themselves are color coded one all black and the other with blue so you can't get them confused with reinstalling. On the flat side of the plugs themselves, there's a gray tab, pull it up then you'll be able to squeeze and pull the plug a part. Some pics as a reference attached. I decided to stop there and wait for my new ramps to arrive since I didn't feel confident with my jack stand setup I had. |

Hey I just got the Fabspeed sport cat and went to a local shop to see about install. The guy there told me he might have to remove the wheel and suspension to get to the cat. Seems to me he has no clue what to do and even questioned whether the part I had (in hand) would even fit.
I'm thinking about doing this myself even though I don't have an access to a lift. Seems like people here have done it at home without issue. |

I definitely agree and stay as far away from that shop as possible. There is no reason to disassemble any of that stuff. We usually knock these downpipes in 2-3 hours including our test runs after the install.

Mine came in today. Install took a little over 2hrs. I used my quickjack to get car off the ground. Shout out to Mike at X-PH for the hook up.

hey Guys, just doing some background research on installing the FabSpeed dp I ordered today (thanks Mike!). One thing that's glossed over in the Akrapovic manual linked above is the step for removing the exhaust: "Remove the stock muffler with link pipes." Is it obvious how to do this once I get up in there?

I'm looking at doing Dinan S2 package and a fab speed down pipe. Is this a wise decision? Does it mess with Dinan warranty? Has anyone done this before? I bet it sounds amazing!

Are you considering the S2 package which consists of suspension parts ($$$$) or do you mean the P2 package which is only a tune and bolt-on components?
