Battery cable nut and bolt p/n
Wondering if anyone knows the part number of the battery cable nut and bolt?
I don’t think it matters as both the positive and negative sides look the same but specifically, I need the negative side. I’ve looked on RealOEM and it only lists the whole cable which is 250 bucks plus shipping. No one will believe me but I stripped this nut taking it off! I was installing the CTEK Comfort Indicator Panel so I just had to remove the nuts on both sides and negative side seemed to get tighter as it was nearing the top (end) of the thread. I had to put the wrench back on to turn it the rest of the way off and now it’s clearly stripped. It did go back on but I’m not happy with it to want to replace it. Thanks!

That nut was probably designed to not come off entirely on purpose. You should've snipped the loop from the CTEK lead into a C shape instead of a full ring, then you could've just slid it onto the post without removing the nut.

Sure, I could see that being the case...the positive side came off and went back on without a hitch. Will stop at the dealer on my way to work tomorrow

Agreed! It's not really a standard nut so I was trying to keep it OEM but they don't sell just the nut and bolt, you have to buy the cable which is 280 Euro...only! I just used an M8 out of my bench stock.
