The M235i and M2 weigh the same per BMW numbers. So with those numbers in mind, I took M235i numbers at face value. Aka. 320hp... Guess what car and driver got with it? 12.9 at 109mph. That's slow. You're telling me 40hp is going to add 10mph to the trap speed? LOL. Oh and to add: STOCK 2015 Mustang GT does Streets of Willow in 1:24:29. STOCK 2015 M235i does Streets of Willow in 1:26:37 Haha. The M2 is going to be underrated like the 425hp m4 which runs 3.7 and 12.0 in C&D. Nobody's driven the car outside of BMW at this point so time will tell. |

The E92 M3 wasn't underrated. Neither was the 1M. Nor the E60 M5. Or the E46 M3. Only maybe the M4. What makes you think the N55 (non-M motor) M2 will be so fast? No matter what. The M4 and GT350 will be just as fast as each other in a straight line. Which automatically should mean M2 < M4 = GT350 in straight line performance going off of trap speeds. |

M235i isn't a real M car. And the GT is too slow and soft. |

Don't be mad buddy. Not everyone figures it out the first time when it comes to knowing which car is faster. My event car is making over 1250whp on pump gas/1850whp on race gas. I'm not exactly trying to get a Subaru drivers approval. |

295whp is 135i territory show your source if you want to be honest. It is not the first time a turbocharged is known to be underated.

http://www.1addicts.com/forums/attac...1&d=1310695943 292whp. Quick search. Most of the 320whp+ "inflated" dynos are done on Mustang dynos.. where you'll see E92 M3's dyno stock at 385whp And to add; regardless of the "Glory run" dyno sheet you show me, it won't matter. 1M's barely trap like 110mph. LOL. Also 135i dynos are mostly around 265whp-270whp.. no idea where you get almost 300whp from. LOL. Last edited by GhostyM; 02-06-2016 at 08:17 PM.. |

GT350 and M3/4 are 117 mph cars both 6MT (Ford more HP, BMW lighter)
235i is 106 with 6MT These are C&D figures that are modified for perfect conditions such as altitude density. Although inflated, the numbers are a fair comparison. The M2, given it weighs essentially the same as the M3/4 with ~50 less HP, my best guess is a 112-114 trap with DCT, 110-112 with 6MT. This car will be as fast as an E9x M3 but not GT350/M4 fast. My problem with the S550 chassis Mustang is its M6 size. It's only one problem but it's a big one.

So.... What I said earlier. Not impressive. A tuned 335i runs high 12's. 113mph trap speed is like stock E92 M3 territory which came out in 2007. To anyone who said the M2 and the GT350 were comparable in a straight line.. umm. Hell no. EDIT: Motor Trend also did a test of their car. Ouch. Last edited by GhostyM; 02-24-2016 at 06:19 PM.. |

Not everybody is interested in straight line speed. Also 99% of people who buy this care are not interested nor will they tune it. The GT350 is a great car, so is the new M3/4 so is the E92 M3, don't know why everybody (not saying you) has to compare them. |

The new Camaro SS 1LE may be quicker than the GT350 and they are virtually the same dimensions: http://gmauthority.com/blog/2016/02/...-shelby-gt350/
