Can't wait to see pics. Been lusting for weeks over Hedoniste's car who also has the same spec except in DCT (and in Switzerland).

ptgltw I was watching a youtube video about the LTWs that have exchanged hand. It was also talking about Paul Walkers collection. The video mentioned the auction occurred in January 2020. I then had the realization that when I was at a meeting in Scottsdale Arizona in January 2020 and we decided not to go to the Barret Jackson auto auction......This was the auction where these cars were located. lol I would have liked to see this collection.
They used to be stored at my buddy's garage, some of them are still there post-sale. He had me go along for a drive in one as the "resident" BMW guy:

You did a truly great job, Tyler. That was one of the more educational and entertaining car videos I've seen in a while. I hope everyone here takes a few minutes to watch it. My only problem with you is you have a mere 311 posts here in 15 years ... you have way too much knowledge for only 21 posts per year! The section from 6:13 to 7:00 was perhaps the most interesting. I never liked the livery on the LTW but I love the big wing and the wheels are simply *to die for*. A simply gorgeous and iconic ///M.

A similar breakdown of OG M2 was provided here: https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1404565

Once production ends for M2C, I would think similar data could be obtained -- I assume SickFinga got this information from BMW rather than the difficult effort that GimmeanM went through!

Yes we were watching this auction live but from our home. It was likely a one off environment however we did see a bump of about 10% in sales after that. A good driver that sold for $70k now sold for $77k ish. I also like the E30 M3 and the 2 he sold did well also, but not as well as the LTW's. Which is understandable. With only 126 ish ever made they don't come up for sale often.

The great thing about the E30 M3 and LTW. When my son and I take them to shows, cars and coffee etc....the younger "kids" (14-21) are the ones asking the questions and taking pictures!

This bodes well for future values. A few pics of mine. You could google PTG LTW and probably find the story / specs if your interested. PTG really did a number on it from new back in 1995.

I wouldn't take anything less than $185k for mine.

Congrats to all the CS owners. I put down a deposit for an allocation back in Jan 2020. Didn't end up getting the allocation and, anyways, not sure I would have forked over that $$$ for an M2. Fantastic car, I'm sure. Plenty of components that I'd love to have on my 17 M2, but mine is so track prepped, it almost seems sacrilegious to do the same to a CS. :lol

The rarest of all e36 M3s was the M3R.

Many years ago one of my friends at the BMW club bought one and brought it to track days. It sounded insane. Induction noise was every bit as good as a CSL. Maybe better. It was a very quick car.

Review here that totally misses the point. It was built for the track, at which it was incredible.

https://www.whichcar.com.au/features...bmw-m3-e36-m3r

Also by the weirdest co-incidence, with a slow pace of moving houses I found this today. Signed by the man himself! Weird.

All,
Thanks to those of you that helped piece together the missing PCD and Military deliveries. I believe the list is completed now to the best of my ability. 'Count' figures have been restated.
Thank you!

Production number???

Awesome information here.... I'm still learning and this probably apparent to most but how is it that some are determining their production number? If by VIN then how please...
Thanks in advance

Open the spreadsheet (link in initial post) and find your VIN. They are listed in order.
