Getting that number on the other hand, is nigh impossible and I don't think many people had any luck lately. |

I tried http://www.bmwdecoder.com and the website doesn't seem to work. Also is it possible to track your vehicle if given a vehicle production number? Thanks |

Hey guys, any update on how to track your car when it's on the train/ truck from Halifax? On the WWL website, it says it has been delivered from Halifax so not sure where it is right now. Would appreciate if someone would be able to help out. Thankyou.

Yeah I'd like an update too. My car arrived as of this morning in halifax and I'd like to track it coming over. Also would appreciate any time frames that people saw for cars making their way from Halifax to Vancouver.
After the ED teaser, driving my 335is is not fulfilling me anymore. |

My car arrived in Halifax on July 12th, was discharged and liner released, then no further updates until today when my SA asks if I want to pick up on Thursday. I'm obviously very excited but was wondering what happened to the customs release and delivered from statuses that I had been expecting.
I am also suffering the ED withdrawal, after enjoying the autobahns and Nurburgring it's been a long wait. |

I'm in Toronto, it will have been just under 6 weeks from drop off in Hamburg with ED to pick up. I was always given 6-8 weeks as the time frame for redelivery, I think they said 8-10 weeks for west coast and dropping off outside Germany would add a week or two.
My previous car, from the same dealership was also just under the 6 week mark for finishing production and delivery (no ED on that one). For those doing ED, I suspect dropping off in Bremerhaven is probably quickest, it can be scheduled and loaded right away. I dropped off on a Friday in Hamburg, it arrived in Bremerhaven on Monday, then loaded the ship on Wednesday. Frankfurt and Munich will have longer travel times from drop-off to Bremerhaven. I don't know how the drop offs outside Germany would work, I don't know if they are generally shipped from more local ports or if they also get sent to Bremerhaven before departing for Halifax. |

I've found that it usually takes about 2 weeks to get cars from Halifax to Toronto. About 3 weeks to get it from Halifax to Alberta. Probably a few extra days to get to Vancouver.
I believe Edmonton is the last stop before finishing in Vancouver. Your best bet is to just keep searching the hansen site daily and see if they have assigned your car to the truck. I was in the dark the last couple of weeks but eventually my car showed up on the Hansen site. I knew when my car was going to be delivered before my sales rep! |

Thanks guys. I guess I have about 3 or so weeks to wait. That'd put me right at the BMW estimate of 8-10 weeks as well. I guess I have already waited 6months from ordering to ED, so 3 more weeks should be possible... should.. be.

Assuming all is well and no delays in Halifax (haha if only), add two weeks from the point the car is released to CP Rail. |

Do you know if it's been released from the VPC?
If yes, and before the holiday, you should have it by end of next week. If yes, and after the holiday, probably by early week of the 18th. If not, hard to say, but at least 3 weeks. PS: your dealer has access to more detailed info including a scheduled delivery date, so pay them a visit in person to chat and get an update. Always better than an email. |
