Tow Hook License Plate Mount
I was just wondering if anyone here is using a tow hook license plate mount or any other way of putting the license plate to the front bumper without drilling holes in it. Where did you get it from? I ordered one from Amazon but it did not fit my M2

It seems like the M2 kit is only for cars without parking sensors. Mine does have the sensors. Any thoughts? |

You guys are reading too deeply into it; no M2 comes with front parking sensors. It does not interfere with front collision sensory either |

My M2 gives me a warning when I get too close to a car in front of me while driving. It's part of the Executive Package. But it seems like a lot of people are using these mounts, so I should give them a try.

Installed look of the Lightened quick release plate . I can also attest that it is durable because I ran over it before I installed it (that's why the plate is bent at the bottom lol ). |

Sales rep told me the braking sensor is up at the rear view mirror. I see nothing near the tow hook cover.

That's different, it's part of the collision avoidance system, not a parking aid like in the rear. Only works if car is moving.

I used one that goes in the middle of the bumper. You do drill but from the underside so you cant see the holes unless you are laying on your back looking up at the bottom of the bumper. Keane design or something close to that. It works if you really want the center mount.

I use StoNsho
http://shop.bigmikesperformanceparts...3-M2-SNS67.htm http://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1318833 Mounts with no holes, though you can drill on the underside if you want, or just use the 3m tape. Can't really see the mount when the plate isn't on. Can take it on and off easily. Mounts in the center if you want it on which doesn't have the offset to the side look I personally don't like. make sure you get the SNS67 one. Worth the money for sure. |

What part of New England are you in? I used to live in Boston and I know front license plate is needed there as well. |
