I went to the BMW website for the Netherlands and couldn't even find the regular M2 listed anymore. Do you know what the base price for the outgoing M2 was excluding VAT?

I predict the US base price will be $57,500 (Confirmed 5.5 % increase from the M2) for the manual and $60,400 for DCT. Options will push you in the mid 60k range..
Also, a carbon fiber interior option? I guess this a glossy version.. Edit: Nevermind, same as the current M2's carbon fiber interior trim (4MC) standard in the US. |

I used the options you gave us which are now standard compared to the M2 on bmw.be and reconfigured a comparable base M2 .
M2: 62,895.80 M2C: 64,300.01 Difference is 1,404.20 or 2.23% which is not bad at all! |

I predict that the US version will come pretty loaded from the start with the same price increase, including carbon interior, HK audio etc. They might charge us extra for the M seats though. I guess the ordering is supposed to start on May 15th?

What are the chances of a discount for removing the sports seats for the US version? I've heard a lot of people suggesting that they aren't as comfortable as the current M2 seats for long durations. I don't have any experience with either seat type though.
Also they are now charging for rear camera and premium speakers? I believe those are both standard in the current model. |

Go onto the M3/M4 forum for sport seats reviews. They are the same seats from the non-zcp M3/M4. Not only have I driven over an hour. I've done multi day road trips in M4 seats, they are perfectly comfortable. It is a bonus since they are more supportive during aggressive driving and they look a milliion times better. My opinion, a must have option on the Competition.
