adding jb4 to my 2020 manual comp ?

just purchased new m2 manual comp..adding mss evolve suspension 10 mm future classic spaces and alcantara steering wheel...i decided to go piggy back instead of removing dme and doing flash tune...has anyone ran jb4 on 2020 model? terry from burger said i can run map 2 of my 93 octane with out any other mods...will i see more power than map 1? anyone have experience with jb4 on 2020

It’s worth about 40whp according to BMS. It’s a decent increase although not as robust as a flash tune.

You also don’t need to remove the DME to flash it. A BMW performance shop should be able to access it by only removing a couple components and connect to it via harness.
For most people, the problem is finding a shop that knows what they’re doing and have experience with this.

The install a JB4 in a M2C is going to be a pain the ass because of the tight squeeze, in the engine bay.

Plus, you have a manual, so you have to remove the rubber grommet on the firewall, to passthrough the OBD2 wire and plug, which in time, can develop a leak, as a result.
