You must be thinking of the CS Racing.

Besides, all the M2's get their asses handed to them on the track, it's just not the car's strong suit.

Track-focused.
That's an interesting comment. There's always someone better and something faster out there. Rumor has it that the CS will run a low 7:40s on the ring. Plenty of faster cars out there, but very close to outgoing 981 GT4. Pretty impressive if you ask me. Watch the YouTube video of the modded M2 running a 7:12. Not sure how many are handing that guys ass to him, but I'm sure there are still plenty. M2 is a reasonably competant platform.

The platform isn't terrible, but the average Joe doesn't drive like the professionals you guys are linking. The exception is just that; the exception. It's a pig, really.

This is only the case in Holland, where they pay unreasonable additional taxes. In Belgium for example, we too pay a lot off taxes based on the amount of co2. But it's not nearly as bad as holland. Germany and france are even better/cheaper to my knowledge. But i'm affraid after Corona is done, taxes are going to go up even more to compensate for loss.

I have a loaded M3 CS with CCB's and sticker on my car was $111,000, how in the heck is this car 163K???????
If I am not mistaken when this car was displayed at one of the auto shows the price announced was to be around $83K and was verified by Car and Driver & Motor Trend.
Someone help me here!
As explained in an earlier comment in a thread regarding a Hockenheim Silver M2 CS:

The Netherlands:
  • BTW = "Belasting Toegevoegde Waarde" = Value Added Tax (VAT);
  • BPM = "Belasting van Personenauto's en Motorrijtuigen" = Tax on Cars and Motor vehicles (environmental tax calculated on the basis of net catalogue value + CO2 value).
Now what the papers said (see the video @ 01:57):
  • Price specified vehicle:
  • Net price without BTW/BPM: €91,296.39
  • BTW (21% on €91,245.29): €19,161.52
  • BPM: €40.137.00
    Total: €150,594.91 (± $163 - April 3, 2020)
Tax authorities of The Netherlands might say: "Thanks for the €59,298.52. By the way, nice BMW 2-Series."

4 kg weight saving because of CFRP roof - sandwich-structured composite (BMW: "you can stand on the new roof - you cannot stand on the previous one").

4. And they still haven't painted the exhaust...
5. Would have been nice to have 102mm black exhaust tips.
6. Tires are still too small...
Despite all this, car looks monumental.
Post from the past: the opposite exercise - for a quick list of features available on the M2 Competition which ain't available on the M2 CS: see here.

Personally, I wouldn't bother giving all 20 up, except for #2, #7 and #12.

Kinda embarrassing when you do sink through it during the celebration.

My list was just quick fixes they could have done on the production line, sans the stereo, and that's just me bitching because they should have fixed it by now.

Grateful for this thread - huge want factor on this new BMW - the new 3 and 4 not even half mast on the blood flow meter.

Well, if I would have answered "mate in three" as hint regarding the request to mention a peculiar feature of the M2 CS back in September 2019, most could have thought that I had engaged in NSFW talk.
