Curious about this too. I was thinking about making a dock that would sit in one of the cupholders so I can just get it and pop the phone into the cupholder the same way you would use a desktop dock. Tap the power from under the console so you don't have any cables anywhere. If I ever get around to making it I'll post.

I agree. Wireless charging is only cool if every charger you use is wireless. But they're also slow which is why I think one wouldn't use wireless chargers exclusively. Otherwise is a PITA to swap/remove the case all the time.

Proclip. Excellent all around easy to route wire to armrest and location is ideal of using OBD torque pro app for data while driving.

Right smack in the middle.
Good: right in center, two additional USB ports, easy to adjust, very stable and no vibration, It has this rubber piece for a tight fit in the cigarette port. Bad: close to the shifter and obstructing the climate control area. |

This is my set up:
Wireless Qi charging with magnetic mount. No plugging lightning cables. It's a very clean look but does block the cup holder when in use. I run Waze in the background with this set along with CarPlay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/112237539163...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT http://www.ebay.com/itm/400957270682...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Last edited by dj2020; 06-12-2017 at 01:01 PM.. |

On my post above. If I just face the phone towards me I get more clearance from the DCT and I can see the climate control ui better and you can still use the cupholders.

It's discreet when not in use and clean looking when in use since u only see ur phone floating in front of you. You can also mount it horizontally or vertically...magnets are quite strong. I was skeptical at first about the phone staying put when going over bumps etc but it doesn't budge! |

I've been using the Kenu Airframe for years. Very low profile and clean looking.

Awesome tips and contributions! Thanks guys. I'm going with the simple magnetic mount and a quick charger. I like my interior clean so I said it's better to keep it simple and easy.

I have seen that one before. Do you have any photos of it actually in your car so we can see the height and position?
Thank you, Mike

Normally I do a Proclip mount, but it looks like that will block the vents on the 2er? I don't like losing vents to phone mount, plus I was planning on putting in the Awron gauge which will already kill one...
