Our new baby
Picked this up on 11/9. Technically it is the wife's car. She wanted something sporty and fun and we have my diesel F31 for practicality.
December 2016 built 2017 with DCT and <30K miles. Wife didn't like the competition seats, they are too big for her. Saves us a bunch of money and I like the manual cluster of the OG M2 much better anyway, and yes, the N55 sounds better so win-win-win! Still need to throw on a new set of tires. The rears were at 5/32nds when we picked it up so it was still "acceptable" for the dealer, but I got them to split the difference of a new set. New set is already out for delivery and should be on the car sometime today. Of course the rears are now at 3/32nds after a week of fun knowing new shoes were on the way These pictures are right after getting it ceramic coated late last week. No way not to walk away from parking it without looking back and smiling. Next step is a HPDE or autox school for the wife. She is loving driving it and I love the looks those terrible car bros have on their faces when she is the one that gets out of the driver's seat. |

Beautiful baby, great photos, congrats. My wife's reaction to the seats was the same - strong preference for LCI version (we drove M3 & M4 to test all seat variations), and no underestimating the value of a smiling, happy passenger. Enjoy yours!

Beautiful, I really love the OG.
Check the software version and get it updated if it's still original. I updated my 2017 (march 2017 build) and the MDM difference is unbelievable. The car is 300% better to drive. |
