Wouldn't target torque (and other parameters) be a function of % wheel slip. This way you are not just dialling in a specific set of ideal conditions like tire grip, surface grip and temperature etc. Means it should work well in any situation.

I don’t think the % off wheel slip is working like it does with the DCT, but it could just be the launch technique.

When digging through the OE function documents there appears to indeed be a few different modes.

1 launch did indeed trigger some sort of torque management and the other was straight up Smokey burnout.

For the sake of my clutch... I haven’t done any other launches.

Every tuner is going to have a different Stage 1/2/etc... tune fyi as it's all bespoke tunes.
Yes of course but this was basically a dyno tune with no mods.

Baby Dragon got to stretch her legs on the dyno today...not bad for stock intake and plugs. Only mods are exhaust and flex fuel.

Nice results expected that the stock turbos taking a torque dive but looks like Bend flattened out the torque curve as much as they could.

Do you happen to have any logs you can share?

My tuner has all the logs and we've elected to keep a hold of them for now.

Yeah we're obviously mechanically limited by what the turbos can do and I requested a flat torque curve (until the turbos tapped out). Upgraded turbos or turbo will be next...going to wait and see as my next upgrade will be suspension and some better tires.

The best thing about the car is the drive-ability and it's way smoother than stock. Most of the other tunes out there have max load requested through the whole mapping and this one targets load based on request...just like BMW intended.

Looks great! I'm going to try to get my first log this weekend depending on the weather. Saturday has rain predicted but Sunday is supposed to be nice.

I appreciate all the help the other day also.

Word on the Ecutek street is that a new phase of Racerom updates is being worked on now that the B58 platform has been polished off with great success.

Also...forgot to post this earlier but I got this fancy new Injector Dynamics ID750 fuel filter installed with a flex sensor/filter bracket courtesy of Bend Calibration. They are currently the only offering with a high quality fuel filter that exceeds the Bosch required specification for their fuel system components. Hopefully this will avoid potential injector failures or other fuel system problems. Fits M2/M3/M4. I have a custom fuel line from my earlier flex sensor installation so mine is a bit different than the stock fuel line one they offer.

I really appreciate all your updates. Definitely going with a similar setup when I get out of warranty. Have you done any of the crank hub or bolt capture upgrades?

Thanks! I have a MaxPsi Crank Hub; I don't think the bolt capture is worth anything to be completely honest. Here's my build thread with most of my mods if you were interested: https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1584371

Supposedly a new version of RACEROM was released or beta features were rolled out officially?

Anyone have a link to the "update" article/document to read? Commanderwiggin ?

(I saw this on Bend Calibration's IG story a few days back)

Thanks!

Check it out here:

Yeah this is just the official RR3 release; I've been running the Beta RR3 for a long time already with no issues other than the mode switch doesn't save over keycycles. It used to work on an earlier RR1 or RR2 patch but it's been a while. Likely when they add the new Motiv Reflex integration they'll have that simple issue fixed.
