As far as the M2, the wait is definitely wearing on me as well. But then I read about the praise that the 2er platform has gotten, it's really hard to argue just how good the M2 is going to be. Hell, the 2er replaced the 3er in Car & Driver's Top 10 list after how many decades? There's no doubt that the M2 is starting from one hell of a good platform. After waiting this many YEARS for the M2, I'd be crazy to bail now

Plus all I have to do is look my desktop background:

Glad to hear buddy! I'm not debating whether I should even bother with waiting for LCI for potentially getting LED's.

Speaking of which, I gotta take my E92 out for a spin this weekend. I haven't driven her in almost 2 weeks
Again, renders are lacking here:

I really hope that line is cut deep into the side. I think it will absolutely make the car. I also want to see what is really hidden beneath those big camo'd fangs already.

Although I have never been, those were my exact thoughts watching this video. Definitely a bucket list item for me.

I can't tell what the m2 sounds like. Tire noise is too loud and exhaust too quiet

I saw an F80 in the flesh yesterday (I don't see many here in North Dallas) and was reminded of how much I love that car. I still think one will find its way into my future at some point...or the M2...but tt looked good and even sounded good, albeit at close range and lower revs.
Odd I see them often.

There is a black f80 M4 with black wheels and grille that is always driving on Frankford road near the tollway.

Also have seen a black m3 sedan on Hebron in Carrollton more than once.

And a white m4 as well on Preston road north of Frankford. Keep seeing each of these cars along with a gray m235 at Campbell and Preston

I'm a huge M3/4 fan, and I have to say, this recent M2 spotting clearly sounds better.

M2 test mules in August 2015 videos feature overrun burbling sounds (check during the off-throttle moments).

No (or at least more discreet) overrun burbling sounds for the M2 test mule in the October 2015 video. Testing with other setting or manual transmission ?

Looks great...

The only car BMW builds right now that I'm actually interested to own one day.

Hopefully the joint project with Toyota actually happens and the next Z4/Supra is fantastic.

does this mean if we can somehow turn off our burbling overrun on the m4s will make our cars sound better?

Question for you: would you prefer no (or more discreet) overrun sounds for the M3/M4 ? I guess most like some burble and crackle sounds.

I agree most would like burble and cracking to an extent, but if those attributes can be sacrificed to gain better tune across the rpm ban, I would happily take the trade off.

It's a test mule. God knows what parts the car has - the one in the October vid could be sporting an older exhaust or something.

Oh, and how does one become a test driver? I want to drive around in M cars!

For your convenience, the first post of this thread contains all 22 M2 test mule videos that we are aware of at this stage (permanent update in chronological order): http://www.2addicts.com/forums/showp...83&postcount=1

Give us a heads-up if you know additional videos (no doubles or picture compilations).
