So 3K plus the 2800 for the ED.
You cannot combine Costco with ED. There are a few dealers out there that will do ED MSRP instead of US MSRP for ED. The reason they may be hard to find is because it cuts into their allocation. The "deals" we are starting to see off of US MSRP are for those dealers that have a decent amount of inventory/on the lot that built up after during the stop sale, and those tend to be mostly DCTs.
Yes you can combine Costco and ED discount. I did. Depends on your dealer. One dealer told me no I couldn't combine them so I went with another dealer who was happy to include both
If you have done ED since 2017, You literally cannot combine it. It is not dealer dependent. I have seen the policy memo if you want. They probably gave you a discount on their end that was commensurate to the value of the Costco incentive to get your business (or they didn't know you couldn't until it was too late and passed on the discount to you to keep you happy). But on paper, they did not give you the rebate/incentive (as a separate line item in your contract breakdown in the way incentives show up) as no current rebate/incentive (except BMWCCA which is not part of the deal anyway) can be combined with ED. The paperwork would get rejected back immediately by BMWNA and BMWFS.

We don't have to agree on this one. I am 99.99% confident I'm right on this one, as I have seen the policy with my own eyes that BMWNA and BMWFS issues to its dealer networks.

Just picked mine up - sticker $64,695... Selling price $60,870 plus ttl. It comes out to about 6% off, I think I got a good deal.

Great deal you got there.
I was eyeing that SO but ended up going with the LBB from a nearby dealer.
Both awesome colors. It was tough to choose one over the other.

$1000 of that discount was for BMW's Graduate special they are doing, but yeah, I was kind of surprised that the dealer agreed to the price. For the first time yesterday, I saw an LBB M2C, very gorgeous. I didn't fly all the up to MD for no reason though, love the SO.

Although i didn't end up buying from them, BMW of Towson were a pleasure to work with when i was hunting for an ED allocation last March.

Oh absolutely. I spoke with the salesmen via email and phone for the better part of 2 weeks, back and forth, exchanging information and bartering. They hit my numbers, I signed, and booked a flight to MD. While I was a bit annoyed at having to sit at the dealer for 2+ hours, even though all the numbers were finalized, it was the best car buying experience I have had to date.

Do you have your SA's contact info? I'm planning on doing ED Summer 2020, so it's about time to start reaching out to dealers. Can you PM me the info? Thanks!

Funny, I had to sit at the dealer for 3 hrs before being able to head to the ppf installer.
I was able to stay patient only because I was getting the m2c.
Had it been something else, I would’ve gone mad.

Thanks
It's been like pulling teeth to get my sales guy to take my deposit on an M2. Probably because I want ED. I would like to enjoy the car next summer so was thinking ED in April and I have it by mid May at worst. If I wait for a June Build date then it's not here until Maybe August.
I wonder if any upgrades with the '21 over a '20? Probably a small price hike

Attempting to put in an order on an m2c for euro delivery. BMW of Seattle wont go below MSRP, and told me they are “Doing me a favor” by doing a euro delivery, so I walked.
BMW of Bellevue said they’d do a euro, trying there next...

June into July is when the cutoff/change of model year actually happens, June being the final month of the '19 and July being the first month of '20. It's the same every year.

I haven't seen a BMW ED for less than ED MSRP on the M2Cs yet (without some deep connections to the dealer). Given that the volumes are much lower than the other M cars, and doing ED is (1) a ton more work for the dealer, and (2) the dealer loses allocations the next go around because an ED sale on an M car doesn't count as a store sale and thus impacts their future allocations - I'm not really surprised that they won't go under MSRP and say they are doing you a favor. Depending on their volumes and past allocation amounts, they may actually be doing you a favor.

I still highly recommend you continue shopping though, just so you can get a feel of the market and not just take my word above. However when I did my ED this past year I was deeply connected with two GMs at two dealers - one wouldn't even do ED, the other did at ED MSRP. I searched far and wide at other dealers and I couldn't find many that would even do ED for the reasons I said above, and the ones that would, wouldn't budge from US MSRP.

Granted, the market changes and this is just one anecdotal example, but don't expect to get the US delivery discounts some others are saying are available here for ED if you are in the US. ED for Canada may be different.

Thank you for the insight sir!

I am seeing inventory really climb a lot on these cars, and were one year away from the end of the m2c, so I have some hope... but if the other dealerships I am reaching out to don’t budge, I probably end up doing the ED MSRP deal. :/

Same boat. Talked to Seattle last week and they wont even want to do ED and offer an sort of discount.
Kuni offer 1k over invoice to up coming built, so its a no brainer.
BMW Bellevue's sales been always idiots, didn't border reach out.

Keep us posted who you go with!
