I’ve bought some comp mirrors to be fitted to my OG

I’m sure I’ve got the correct ones
I need the 5 pin version is this correct in saying?
My current ones (og fitted to the car) are powerfold/auto dim

I’m sure I’ve read it somewhere on The forum that 5 pin is what you need by for the life of me I now can’t find it.

Anyone who has done this conversion confirm I’ve bought the correct ones?

If I have not I’ve got them at such a low price I can always sell on and not lose money (would prob make tbh)

I'm about to buy this kit new from getbmwparts, not sure about the pins, and there is no video tutorial either, but there are a few threads on it. Doing a google search for "bimmerpost M2 mirror retrofit" will help you find them.

I did the conversion a couple years ago on my OG - just verify that you’re getting the correct PN using the real OEM ETK. All the US cars should have the same PN unless I’m mistaken. It’s plugnplay with no coding! You don’t even need to take the door cards off - you can just wedge out the tweeter with pry tools and access the 3 bolts holding the mirror on from there

Yes I found all the other posts but none say/have pictures etc. to say how many pins.
I think the 6 pin units are for blind spot indicator.

Yes the are a complete genuine comp units off a breaker

Fingers crossed I can get the tweeter off without too much hassle

M2s never came with the blind spot indicator so no worries about that! You should be good with any set off of a M2C in the same country
