2019 M2C with 32k miles. Started getting a burning smell since last week that can be smelled from the cabin with the windows down. Thought it was because of a plastic bag that got stuck under my car, but today a friend of mine took a look at it and noticed some white smoke (not cloudy, but noticeable) coming out my exhaust.

Running everything stock, no mods yet. I’m thinking the miles are too low for a valve gasket. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I wouldn't worry unless the smoke smells "sweet" like coolant and exists after the car has been running for 20+min. The bag may have gotten onto the exhaust.

PCV valve? Hopefully you’re still under warranty if that’s what it is - it’s part of the valve cover which is an ~$800 part plus a metric buttload of labor because so much has to come apart. Good luck finding the issue.

Smell comes after driving for 10-15 min and persists till I stop driving

Without a video and smell-a-vision it's hard to tell.
Take it to a shop and they can tell you if it's coolant.

This should be relatively easy to identify with a good visual inspection all over

Car is not tuned, at least from what I know.

Plastic bag that was stuck is barely there anymore. I do see a few white pieces of plastic left. Can’t reach it, need to lift the car to access.
