Front Passanger M Perf Strut

Hello. Noticed that my front passenger side M perf coil over strut seems to be blown and leaking all over the place.

Does anyone happen to have a spare available for that corner? Let me know please.

OR if anyone has had a similar issue and knows the best way to go about having it rebuilt, I would appreciate any advice or feedback as well.

We were just talking about how rare this is.

Can you tell me how many miles are on this suspension? This car sees a lot of track days right?

You can send them to Zoran at TWF: https://www.twfracing.com/contact.html

He rebuilt mine for like $600 for all 4 corners.

Maybe ask KW to rebuild them? Didn’t they produce these for BMW anyways?

I may reach out but I saw a thread where someone asked and were told by KW that they cannot touch them because they are white labeled BMW. Have some calls to make today to find out.

I reached out to KW previously, and they pretty much told me they wouldn't be able to service them. Hence me reaching out to Zoran.

They were happy to sell me parts, but couldn't rebuild them for me given these are white labeled products and they don't want the associated liability for them.

Appreciate the feedback

How did everything go with the rebuild? All good since then? How many miles? Mostly street driving or Track?

Rebuild was good. Other than ordering new dust boots from KW, Zoran was super quick and great to work with.

Rebuild has done well for me, and I haven’t had any issues on street or track.

Thanks all for your feedback. I considered a few options this morning including rebuilding, replacing individual parts, buying new, and upgrading. But ultimately, the M perf coils have been perfect for what I do with the car which is mostly track days and weekend driving.

So after checking the price of a replacement strut from BMW (well over half the cost of a whole new set), I am going to just get a whole new set and replace all 4 corners. This will get me back to where I was and leave me with replacement parts if anything gives me issues in the future.
