Dashboard chrome delete

Hi guys!

Wanted to try and get rid of the chrome parts of the air vent outlets in the dashboard so I spray painted them in original BMW Individual color British Racing Green with the code M895.

Until I got some interior shots of the car I thought I'll show you some close ups:

Very nice work. Did you just mask off or were you able to take the pieces apart for paint?

thank you! love your build, very nice car!

besides the big center air outlet I was able to take the pieces apart and the steering wheel trim is pretty easy to disassemble as well, unfortunately it's almost impossible with the center part because it's kind of plastic welded with two other parts, the vents on the side are also welded but its not to hard to separate those parts and later you can glue them back together like I did in the picture below

thanks and imo it matches the mineral grey color of the car pretty good as well,

I plan to spray more parts of the car in that color
