Isn't the cf lip betalinked to the bumper from the factory? No bumper damage on removal?

Excellent use of the kitchen bench; you and my son must be kindred spirits as my kitchen bench is always full of his car tools and other gear

The irony of replacing real carbon fibre with fake carbon fibre is not lost on me. I get the logic that leads to this, but still..!

Agreed. It was more of an "art" [project. Easy to remove to stock.

Unlike other spoilers the M2CS spoiler has a set of brackets (~$500+ !!).

Do you still use tape or just the brackets?

If you can. Would you post a picture of the brackets?

Nice. I thought it was just two L brackets. Those look like it snaps right on and hold it well.

Thanks for taking the time!

Recall buying replacement lips for my 2011 Porsche turbo. $250. Seems like a lot for BMW plastic.

It is crazy that a piece of cheap plastic for BMW costs more than the same thing for Porsche GT.

The plastic lip of M2CS racing has just been delivered. It is absolutely identical in terms of shape and mount.

What is the part number for the original CF lip? I have 51192449476 and 51118078455 from two different websites. Now I am so confused which one is correct. I sandpapered the bottom of mine last week at parking curb, not noticeable in front, but still get annoyed when I think about it. Trying to order a new one but not put on it until the old one gets major damaged.

Edit: from the diagram in the website and the picture posted above, I think 51118078455 is correct, but anyone can confirm this?

I scuffed the bottom of mine leaving a parking lot last week. I saw the incline, went diagonal and couldn't have gone any slower and it still hit.

I knew the day would come and you can't see it unless you are on the ground. I'm still going to drive with it. It's bound to happen again since I'm lowered a little bit on H&Rs. Fingers crossed for no cracks.

Same here, can't see the damage from any angle unless go under it. I know it's gonna happen sooner or later, because it is my DD. And I am just not going to stop driving it whatsoever. The reason I am thinking to buy a new one is just because I put it under the "wear parts" category in my opinion. So always good to have a spare one. Lol
