The G8X cars right now are a mass produced car that is meant to appeal to a wider audience. It is still a BMW through and through. I absolutely love the way it drives. It has excellent power delivery (though much different than the S55 tune) and the biggest improvement is the suspension geometry, it's simply amazing. But here's the caveat, it's a car that casts a wide enough net that it isn't as special as the M2CS. The car is freaking huge and you can feel it behind the wheel. Also, the elephant in the room are the looks. Gone are the aggressive and sophisticated lines of the F series M cars and instead you get a hodgepodge of angles, creases, lines that don't connect and bizarre ideas that make sense only in a tik tok world.

A lot of people traded their E30 M3 in for a nice shiny E36 M3 also. Again, wrong side of history but who knew back then? The difference is most of us M2 CS owners know now. There isn't a BMW I would trade the M2 CS for period. Maybe a 911 but that's just because I didn't want the BMW anymore. Sorry I'm rambling...anyway With that said, I would trade my M2C in on a newG80 i a heartbeat. I've driven both and hands down G80 is a better car. Problem is I traded the M2C in for cash a while ago. Just wanted to dump that car.

We never got HSV's in the USA. Although TBH it's not incredibly difficult to modify up to one. They were generally just some different body cladding, better engine, and brakes.

They gave me 88k dealer trade in- wasn’t interested in maximizing my trade and more about getting rid of the financial responsibility.

Have you seen what they are trying to sell it for? ...Or do you not want to know?

$88k on trade is good, even if they sell it for $100k, maybe more. Given that Colorado is 7.6% sales tax on autos, $88k on a trade is still going to save a lot just based on the tax savings. Sure, he'd be 'up' if he sold it $100k private, but that's also more work for only a couple more grand in profit.

With our pending move away from the mountains, I need something more daily driver friendly where I can comfortably fit a baby and feel like she’s safe in it while still providing a great driver experience. And in a florida type environment straight line speed inarguably goes to the M3 comp with that new platform that’s just scratching the surface of potential. Still not the biggest fan of the grill but the CSL grill looks pretty good and hopefully you can retro it |

This dealer is pricing a 3k mileage, blue/gold, 6MT, steel brakes for $120!
https://www.bmwofbridgewater.com/use...ca94d57925.htm Has a few minor mods, black rear reflector, black rear badge, red M1/M2 buttons, black painted emblems, carbon steering wheel insert (probably all IND-Distribution). Personally, as much as I love my CS, at that price a Cayman GT4 or GT4 RS isn't far off either.

It seems they positioned the size of the CT4 directly between the M2 and the M3. Curious to hear a comparison of the CT4-V BW and the M2C. |

But, personally, I believe the M2 platform, even in CS mode, is a different car from a GT4. |
