BSM M2cs build/mod thread (Pics and exhaust videos)
I wanted to take the opportunity to share pics of my M2cs. Most of my past cars have been pretty extensively modified, most notably my ESS625 E92 M3. Pics and specs in my for sale thread in the link below. I have added just a few things to make it my own. All mods can be removed and put back to stock in a matter of a few hours.
https://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1826537 Once I sold M3 I ordered a LBB M2 comp. Once I took delivery I realized the color was not for me and traded it in for my M2cs. Story and a few pics in the link below. https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1846257 Mods so far: 80% PPF OEM 763M "cs" version wheels powder coated (I still have the original black wheels and Cup 2 tires) 255/275 MPSS tires 12mm spacers front / 7.5mm spacers rear OEM M2 competition steering wheel AA EL res mid pipe Eisenmann Performance Exhaust - Valved ASD delete Carbotech 1521 brake pads Eventuri Charge pipes Enabled tuned Gintani Crank hub Wagner Catted 200 cell DP's Some of the pics are at similar angles, however I couldn't decide which ones to cut out. I love this car!

It absolutely does. These tires in conjunction with the suspension in comfort makes this car unbelievable to drive. Even in sport it is very compliant.
Be advised it does rub the inner liner at full lock. Loading the suspension as hard as I can in a turn or highway dips where I have had rubbing on other cars, no rub at all.

While i was doing this mod in my shop, one of the guys was asking me what i was doing. He likes cars but is not a "car guy". I told him that BMW removed this from the M2cs for weight savings and he just laughed.

The Dinan has an X pipe so it is a little more than some other back boxes. I also have the ASD coded out, so my volume went down before adding the Dinan. The Dinan is probably about 25% louder than stock, but without the ASD the sound inside the car is about the same. I would actually say it is a better sound inside the car (less intrusive) because it is not being pumped in through the speakers. The sound is deep and clean. I really like it very much. The bad: The tips are just too big and at full out they are just not long enough. Also the clamps are huge and cannot be hidden at all. They looked terrible from the back and side, which is why I did this mod in the first place. This is something I was able to fix with 4 generic 12" stainless tips I got on amazon (likely for a pickup truck). I turned them down to 7" on my lathe and they only have one slit and welded nuts with a bolt pulling them together. So the clamps are much more discrete. Some might not like the generic look of the tips, but I think they look purposeful without the flash. That is the look I'm going for.

The red calipers pop like crazy with this color scheme. Looks so aggressive

The steering (turn in) is not a precise, but as a street car it really doesn't matter at all. Also the ride quality is better do to the bigger, less stiff side wall.

Love seeing the start of this build! As the person who bought OP's E92 M3, I can say for sure he has exquisite taste and really takes great care of his vehicles. Can't wait to see the progression on his M2CS! Love the color of the wheels and the exhaust tips. Perfect!

I would like to retrofit the carbon ceramic brakes but keep the red calipers. That would be perfection to me... Also I would love to see what this car feels like with a tune.

CCB's would be epic. And the tune, yes, that's a must. |

Here is a pic from Matt at ACM prior to my exhaust install. I wish I could take better pics...
