Carbotech 1521 are nice pads.
Very low dust as well.
Do you have any “clicking” from the pads when changing direction?

Sweet dreams, M2CS.

What's that thing along the wall/floor of the garage? It seems like a good way to provide a little protection if you're going to pull it in so close to the wall for storage.

Yeah, looks like a guide. Never seen one. If mine was tight I'd have something like that for sure.

In the rears we were able to use the OEM shims so they are dead quiet. The fronts only one very slight click when you go from forward to reverse and vise versa. Once you start on your way they do not move until you need reverse again. I could get the OEM shims in but would need to modify them only about .010". I was going to do it if it bothered me, however they do not at all. I am very picky with just about everything, but this was simply too minor to waste my time.

The low dust is like a gift from the car gods!

The angled plastic bumpers are 4' lengths run the length of the garage. I have had this set up for many years with my E92 and now the cs. I can easily feel when the tire touches the bumper and there is still about a mirrors distance from the wall. As you also see my garage wall sill plate is set in about 2" which also provides a little more mirror clearance. This way I have a ton of room on the other side.

This was my E92 M3 and bike. I still had plenty of room to get by.

I bought them here (link below)

I optimize my parking in the garage just like you do and I didn't know about this solution. I will copy it, thanks for sharing.

Glad I could help! If your garage does not have the extra distance as mine does simply put a 2x4 behind to space it out a little more. Or perhaps even a 4x4 if it makes you more comfortable.

Having the bike and a second refrigerator made it absolutely necessary to create space. The foot traffic alone makes it a necessity.

Thank you sir! AUTOcouture Motoring does great work. The AA EL and Eisenmann do not fit together very well. They had to extend and weld both pipes together. The sound is very clean now.. I love it!

I thought this was good lighting to see the wheel contrast. My photo skills are not strong, in person the car looks so good... I might have a bias though...

No sir... After one drive in my car I knew I did not care for the huge Alcantara steering wheel. I ordered an OEM M2c wheel from getBMWparts.com. The swap takes about 20 minutes. My OEM cs wheel is like new in a box until I sell the car (so never)...

The wheel that came with the car will never be separated from the car. This also goes for the gloss black OEM cs 763m wheels and exhaust.

It is difficult to predict the future, however I don't see myself ever selling this car, this is a pinnacle car for me.

With that said, the logic would dictated that I should sell them. Without selling the exhaust there is about $5k sitting in one of my spare bedrooms. I may however sell the delivery mile cup2's that are still mounted.

Do you feel you get better feedback and driving pleasure with the leather wheel?

I think it does, however my motivation was simply because I disliked the OEM cs wheel very much.. Prior to my E92 M3 I had a 6th gen 1LE that had an Alcantara wheel and did not like it then. The M2cs wheel is both too thick as well as being Alcantara. It was one of the first things I did.
