I've never had a vanity plate on any of my cars. I'm not a fan of cocky plates like:
2FST4U MYBMR HILIFE A bit cooler but asking for trouble, I saw one AMG KLR I was considering one for my car for the first time, and it's available in my state: F87CS or 6MTCS I think it's understated, and the average driver behind me will think it's a normal plate number. Only those who know will know. Yes or no? |

Just got new plates on my Z3. They are so obscure that only a handful of people in a city of 5 million would notice. That's the way I like it. |

I never understood why people put the name or car model on the license plate. It's right there on the trunk!

Maybe I have a different meaning of what personalized plate mean. I want someone reading the plates to become a guessing game. Whoever is reading it know it’s a fancy car, but how is it different to other cars? Whatever you choose, it has a direct correlation in your personal life.

I generally shy away from them and don't have them on any of my other cars. But did do this.

I believe having the model of the car as the personalized plate is a clean look. Why add additional noise? For me, it adds to the uniqueness of the car. Also, the less characters on the plate the better/cleaner look IMO. To each his own.

All my cars have them. Gives them character. I don't like putting the model name on it. It's already there; why repeat it? I also like to be able to transfer plates to other cars if I sell the car. Each to his own.
