Does the M2 CSR have a brake booster? I believe you may have already commented on this, but I don't remember. I just came back from the M4 GT4 experience and have to say the unboosted brake pedal was actually awesome. There was soooo much more control of braking, especially braking release. My gluts definitely feel like they got worked, but while in the car it was not as difficult as I though it would be.
I now want a race car.

Does anyone want to pull the CAFD files from their CSR and share? (not that there are many people who can effectively do this) |

I have a few of these that I support with diagnostics/tuning/etc. and the coding is not possible. I have multiple esys saves from them, and it's not terribly useful.

The M2 CSR isn't anything like this, they are similar to your street car brakes. I left foot broke the M4 GT4 all the way around Indy. Cant left foot brake the CSR worth shit. Mike

Seriously though, I wouldn't want to start messing with a BMW Factory Masterpiece. I know people who have spent $10,000 on suspension changes and re-install the stock suspension a few weeks later. Our philosophy is learn the car.

Hi Guys,
Hate to just jump right into a new forum and ask questions but I am looking to buy a BMW M2 CS Racecar and I am having absolutely no luck. Little bit about myself. I live in Arizona, belong to Apex Motor Club, been racing for 30 + years, run two Ferrari 488 Challenge Evos in the Ferrari Challenge (Will be at COTA in 2 weeks) and have a BMW M2 Competition. The M2 street car is ideal for the small track at Apex here in AZ and the M2 CS Race Car even better I would image.. So, does any one have any leads? I've talked to BMW Motorsport and they are of course sold out. |

Your best bet is purchasing a "used" car. Sounds like ptgltw is selling his. I've also seen a few posts on social media from various teams hinting at selling their M2CSRs - but not sure what they're asking/if they're actually for sale. If you're interested in renting and racing in SRO - we took delivery of a brand new car in December. However, we're only interested in renting it out for SRO test and race weekends in conjunction with my TCX program - so a little niche. |

I'm a golfer, turned 50 and want to get back into tournament golf. My kids are big time into golf at moment and they are 16 and 14. I want to spend time with them now. I bought a 2018 GT3 touring I'm downsizing most of my collection in order to simplify. Keeping LTW E30 M2 M2 CS is now my daily driver and golf trip car (probably 8k miles per year) GT3 Touring The other 10 are for sale.

They made 300 m2 CSR total for the world. Only 130 for the USA.
Mine sold in a couple days. They are wonderful machines. We are going to miss ours but the 2801.6 Kilometers of fun I put on it last year, the memories will remain for a lifetime. They are only going up in value and will soon be worth $200k before the new Entry Model comes out, whatever and whenever that might be.

I know of a few more for sale. Unfortunately they aren't cheap. I'll send you a DM tomorrow when I get more info.

Wolfs in sheeps clothing. I'm all about that philosophy. It's similar to the M2 CS in terms of under the radar quiet and un assuming. If a 911 can be unassuming. Nothing against wings but for on the street definately overkill and not as "friendly" to onlookers lets just say. The touring looks like a regular 911 with a twist. Manual gearbox only. Better engine than the 911R. Revs to 9000. One of the best true Sports cars ever made for the street with quiet looks. Wolf in sheeps clothing. The M2 CS is the best all arounder ever made for the street. Just ask EVO Magazine
