For my own sanity I have not kept careful record of that as I'm doing this beyond my means to fulfill a dream. All in I'm less than or equal to a brand new m2cs ... probably.

Bet it drives better than an M2CS though. Why do you go for a wrap not auto flex

Autoflex is janky and almost no one does it properly. You'll be left finding overspray everywhere you never imagined you could get overspray for the rest of the cars life. It can be good if a professional painter does it, then fully wet sands/polishes it afterwards, but in the end you'll be left with something the same cost as a vinyl wrap that is attempted by mostly amateurs.

Also my friend owns a car wrapping company and it was a good solution for protection on the track that also looks good since it's a daily driver still.

I'm sure there's better ways to do this but this is what I chose

You are right about the need to get a qualified installer to do autoflex, but that's the same case with wrap installers. I've seen many, many horrible wrap jobs.

With a good paint gun and paint booth, Autoflex is less labor intensive than a wrap, and looks just like paint. The 3 autoflexed cars we've done have been 1/2 the cost of a wrap. And we got to choose the color!

In any event, LOVE the mods to your M2! I'm considering the CF charge system, which would work well with my intake and catted downpipe!

It's the biggest that'll fit comfortable right now on 19" wheels. It's really a test set up to set up a baseline and go from there.

Looks like you have listed the spring rates the wrong way around. The images allude to this as the front dampers have the thicker spring.

Also appears you have tenders vs helpers. What rate are the tenders?

I own M2 n55 lci myself and also track it a lot, so I would like to suggest to try out nankang ar1 tyres 265/35/18 and 295/30/18 as I could not believe how much grip they have. It is also possible to run 275/35/18 in front to have even more grip.

Also regarding brake pads I see you are using ferodo, that is very good but make sure you are using ferodo ds 3.12 front and back as they make stock brakes with steel brake lining and motul 600 brake fluid more then neccessary.

Cheers
Sven
Sven - what 18" wheel setup are you using with 275/295 AR-1 ? What alignment settings are using - Croatian track looks like fun. Thnx, BP

Ok I know its bene a while since an update I'm much better about remembering to update IG.

I have a final verdict on E85: FUCK THAT.

I ran the car on an OTS stage 1 91 octane tune this weekend at Laguna Seca and absolutely loved it. The power was right where it should be and it's a lot more linear and useable. I will not be using e85 on the track anymore and I'll likely be running 100 at some point.

The stock brake rotors are officially toast after 6 track days and 25k miles on the car

The cars to heavy, putting in seats and removing rear seat asap as well.

Also, I managed to fit 265/35/19 and 285/35/19 Goodyear Eagle f1 3r tires! Holy shit those tires are great I HIGHLY recommend them for the track.

Did you have to modify the fender liner to fit the Supercar tires?
What's your ride height bottom of lip to fender?
Looks like 600mm?

Any specific reason why you went straight for R compound tires? Most progressions I see are starting with a street tire and working your way through them before going to a r compound. Especially now that you have 18s.

These 18s will only be used on the track. I've gone through quite a few sets of tires the pst year lol

Here they are where they belong (at the track). Had a boost leak so didn't get much track time in today but that happens.

Another three days in the books!

Didn't get much time at Big Willow but I got some really good time in at Buttonwillow cw 13 until the tires chorded.

Some build notes:

The swift springs 120/100 are definitely better than 100/80

The spl arms and schirmer bearings definitely make the car more stable in corners

Absolutely love the AP brake kit up front! Using ds1.1 pads

Going to be switching from Goodyear Eagle f1 3r tires to Nankang Cr-1 to try to get more seat time in.

The recaro seats make a huge difference. Both between car feel and weight savings.

Next track days in Late January not 100% sure what we will do before then if anything.
