I'm not sure when BMW went awry , as my E90 had Phenomenal brakes no matter how much you abused them.

My F80 M3 had the same issues as your M2. Somewhere along the line BMW changed pad material and it does not marry well with the rotor metal used.

I had my brakes replaced under warranty 4 times and every time the issue came back within 1k miles. I finally just gave up and lived with it until my lease was up.

It is not warped rotors , it's pad material not playing well with the rotor material.

I have everything OEM and I have had a wheel jutter when braking... no idea what could cause this?

Would very dirty wheels w brake pad dust cause jutter?

My 8k-mile M2c has fairly severe shuddering/pulsating under braking, from ANY speed, especially when coming to a slow, gradual stop. The dealer is replacing the front rotors under warranty, though they are on national backordered (shocking) and no idea on an ETA.

Thanks for this... i think this must be some fault in design, many people have complained about this... the 2NH brakes are so so in my mind.

I wish the "standard" M2c brakes would have been standard here, I never would have "upgraded" to 2NH - complete overkill for a car that will be 100% street-driven. And the standard, LIGHTER, 4-pot brakes are quite good anyways. And yeah, I've heard other stories of warped rotors on 2NH cars, right from new.

I have to agree, the 2nh do brake very well and look amazing but they are a huge pain in the ass. For street the standard work just fine, and for track they are a pain in the ass because you can't fit an 18in wheel and to put race pads on you have to unbolt the calipers.

just rebed the rotors and pads.. you dont have warped rotors.. you dont flog the car so definitely not warped rotors... go and do a new set of bedding in processes and it should get rid of that issue

Already tried that - multiple times. No help. Rotors clearly warped, dealer diagnosis confirmed and parts ordered.

I drove my car very hard a few times this past weekend... can't say the issue came back. I even braked very hard to try to rebed... can't say I had the same experience I had previously... dunno... maybe the dust causes it or not driving for a few days. Will report back if it comes back.
