5,610 and sleeping for the winter. Need to pull it down off the lift and do some cleaning and so forth yet, but the mileage won't change until mid-late March. Can't wait!

I feel like my car is getting better and better with more miles. It's hard to describe. Maybe it's just me getting more comfortable with the car.

My exhaust note definitely sounds better after about 5-6k miles. I still can't stand the cold start rasp, but once warmed up it has a nice idle and definitely makes a great sound under load even from 2-4k RPMs.

First thing to change when you in the car.
This is what I'm looking for, how do I change the Efficiency to Oil Temp or basically any other option but Efficiency?

I use my stalk toggle switch and have default to the digital speedo. I no longer miss my HUD from the F80 as a result.

2800 miles. Starting to hibernate for the winter. Not driving this on salted roads. I want it to be rust free when I'm driving it 30 years from now buying premium gas at 150 dollars a gallon

I've hit 25.300 km

And now for today it is a kind a sad day to me, after a long and beautiful history of driving all baby ///M cars, I'll be turning the car in today.

As BMW design is becoming weirder by the day, mass is increasing every new generation I'm not buying the next generation M2.

Its a pity and a shame. BMW has lost its appealing to me.

After having driven a; E46 M3, E92 M3, F82 1M, F87 M2OG and the F87 M2CS my BMW history is finally going to end.

The king is dead, long live the king.

My next DD wil be the GR Yaris, and the 718 GT4RS is coming end of 2022

Why do you have to get rid of the M2CS if you like it?

But I don't blame you, the GR Yaris is sick. I would have got one of those over the M2CS if they were available in the United States.

Also, the GT4RS is going to be epic. If you are one of the lucky few who get the privlidge of buying one, you would be a fool not to do it.

10,249mi I feel like the car is getting better. How long does it take for a car to full "break in". Engine, suspension, trans, etc? I'm sure a lot is my increasing familiarity with the car, but that also means I notice the subtle differences.

It begs the question if an initial review of any car is really worth anything. A lot of seat time is necessary to truly experience a vehicle.

Amen brother. I don't really get the feel of my cars for thousands of miles. Old cars are easier than new ones. Don't ask me why.

I'm a bit slow I guess. Takes me twice your mileage to really get to know a new car. I think it's all the bells and whistles these days.

Pushing 3,000 miles and enjoying every mile. I feel like it's just about max HP for the street.

It's definitely a keeper for me.

I turned the CS in because in time it will only depreciate further. I only kept if I was sure I would buy the next M2.

They made me an offer on the CS i couldn't refuse, everybody knows BMW`s do depreciate in time, so no brainer to me.

The car is obviously very good (understatement) dare I say; maybe to good for DD only, I used it for commuting and IMHO the cas is not done justice in those circumstances.

BMW, I loved them, but for me (seeing the new M240i) that is not my style anymore, not the exterior, not the interior (they wil give it the new Merc like dash, I cal it a DigiDash, and frankly; I hate them)

The whole car development is not anymore about driving dynamics, the present and future cars are about mobile internet stations, driving has become secondary, primary it`s all about if you can chat, if can do Insta in your mobile platform, most people don not car about the driving, they care about missing there what's app and facebook. They all want to do things that dos not concern driving. And that's were the automotive industry is taking us.
