M2 CS Maintenance Intervals

Curious what others are doing now that the car is been around a bit.

What's your service intervals?
  • Sticking with stock and the using the service indicator intervals
  • Doing my own intervals. If so, how often?

My opinion is the CS it's really just like any other car, specifically the M3 M4 and regular competition except for some special cosmetic bits.

When I had my break in service done that included oil change and Differential Service, I also paid extra to have them drain and fill the transmission.

Otherwise you'll be doing spark plugs every three or four oil changes, do you want to do coolant replacement at least every two or three years, and brake fluid flush is every two years.

I've made a habit of doing oil changes at least once a year in my M cars (even when not required by the maintenance schedule) and have never had engine issues over 80,000km in 8 years.

I aim for annual oil changes or 7k kms, whichever comes first, usual the kms.

Just follow the service schedule.. The S55 is the most rock solid M engine ever built.

I plan on doing it once a year. I don't hit 3000 miles a year.

I do one in between oil change (from FCP Euro). I just did it around 6k miles.
I would agree with everyone else to follow the factory schedule.
