12.1 and best of 121.9 1/4 mile what’s your thoughts??

I just wanted to share this , I’m very happy with the results
I finally made it to the track
The car has ps2 and fbo less hpfp.
Running 94 gas with octane booster
I did 7 runs — traction was a big issue so my best runs were on traction control and no Launch control 1/2 throttle 1st and 2nd.

Strong mph. It’s enough for 11s if you could find some traction with a more drag friendly tire.

You’re definitely leaving time and mph on the table as is. Regardless, thanks for sharing and congrats on having a M2 in the 120s.

I agree with you and that’s what I wanted to see. And I believe 123 was reachable if the track didn’t close early. I was just getting the hang of it.
Thank you
I can’t wait to see what trap speed I will get after I install Stage 2 HPFP.

Get that 60 foot into the 1.8 range with some drag radials and you'll drop around 0.6 seconds in ET. Trap speed won't change much, if any.

Is this Dragy or real track numbers?

Density altitude was super favorable but those cold temps weren't helping you on the traction side.

I did get one pass with 60 foot onto the 1.8 but I Double shift from 2nd to fourth 😒, and track was closing early so couldn’t do it again.
Yes it’s a real track numbers

Great times! That's an easy 11.60-11.7 pass with a 1.8 sixty.

Are you running a catless DP?

What's your shift points by gear?

I'm going to follow a similar path with my M2 once I buy out the lease. I'll run a full drag pack though (DRs and skinnies) provided the axles / diff can take it.

Nice. Definitely a mid-11 second car as is. What tires?

To say the truth I believe the car is capable of 11.5@123-124
I’m very Optimistic and looking forward for installing HPFP and try some E85, I also have a set of OEM 19s to use with Drag radials next time I go ( next summer).
Yes catless DP
I have 1st and 2nd at 35% power reduction, and still traction was an issue. Worst on 2nd gear.
I try to shift at 5500 2nd to 3rd and 6500 after that,
I was doing run after run with having only one 1.1/2 of track time before they close, so no cooling off time.
With full drag tires you should be able to use Launch control and keep it shift by it self.

I was going to say 11.50s but wanted to be conservative. I think 11.50s are doable on a 1.6 sixty though if you're pedalling it to 125mph then it could do it on a slower sixty with ability to go WOT from 2nd onwards.

Are you running the stock intake? What about charge pipes?

Cheers
Chris

Good times! Although id think the ps2 is capable of so much more even just on pump gas no?

I did a 1/4 via dragy and i trapped 194.74 kph (121.7 mph) on stock turbo running stage 2+ e30 map. If hitting 120 mph on the m2 is good enough then im happy lol. This is a dragy time so take it with a grain of salt.

Anyways, throw some e30 on there and let er rip OP! Keep us posted.

Very nice, glad to see a stock turbo trapping 121.7 this gives me hope. I believe dragy times are accurate.

I’m not even tuned for pure turbo yet and can’t really take advantage of the bigger turbo without HPFP. So this just having some good fun.
Plus its nice to see the difference after I add HPFP.

Good stuff.

Stock intake is the best anyways from a MAF accuracy and IAT perspective. Plus there is no intake restriction on stock or near stock turbo. Your build sounds really similar to what I'm planning for mine. Hoping 11s are possible here too.

I do have the pure turbo inlet.

11s are very possible , good luck on your build.
