Question Hand Wash Undercarriage?

I'm moving from Texas to PA (promotion!) and I'm wondering how to hand wash the road salt from the undercarriage. Spray the best you can at a do it yourself wash?

When I previously lived in a northern climate, I'd run my car through a car wash with undercarriage spray from time to time, but I'd rather not take my M2 through the car wash. I've been hand washing it since I got it. It's also going to be a bit before my belongings make the move and I'll be living in some sort of temporary housing for a while - to be figured out still.

Thanks!

Congrats on promotion. I doubt if you will be satisfied with any hand wash at all...just too difficult to get to all areas, and beyond the reach of arms. Plus cold weather makes it difficult to do on the ground.
Another alternative is head to Harbor Freight or Northern or your choice and get a decent roll about pressure washer. If you have water hose access and its easy, then setting it up to use when needed might be your best economical choice. Just a thought. Works for a lot of friends up in the salt regions, I thankfully moved out of some years ago, never to return, LOL. Best of luck on it.

Well, saltwater to the undercarriage can play hob with same. Be sure to rinse thoroughly, and consider moisturising to avoid chafing. Lose clothing may also help...

Yea, just try to rinse when you can.

Thankfully we have many self car washes out here with undercarriage sprays in the wash bays. I will also lay on the floor to spray directly underneath at tough spots. Once a month I remove my wheels, wipe down the suspension and then hit it with a lubrication oil( wd40). After winter I toss the car on the lift and wipe everything down.

Enjoy your new location!
